    All week maybe 2 weeks now every night shurtleff st is filled with junkies. From one side of the st to the next it’s absolutely disgusting. I’ve called the police multiple times for this and nothing so I’m putting this here in hopes of change. These are dangerous people we need off our streets immediately

    There are still constant drug dealers from this corner every night stretching all the way down shurtleff st, during the day they are completely out in the open dealing drugs on church stoops. It’s obvious to anyone living and watching in the area & there’s no way the police don’t know about this. I will keep posting this untill I see some sort of effort on the city’s part to change this. Calling the police every time there’s one of these people around is insane when it’s their job to keep them off the streets In the first place

    Same corner as always for the past few days has had drug dealers/users intimidating and harassing people walking by at night. They stay at this corner and all around this general area and people come and go doing drugs with or buying from these people. It’s disgusting behavior out in public and since it’s so recurring I’m sure it’s always the same groups and this is definatly hard drug Use and gang related. Chelsea should be moving in a better direction not continuing to let this be done in public is such a densely populated and high traffic area

    Constant screaming of people in the outside yard of this address, really disruptive and inconsiderate to people living nearby, especially at night. Two of my tenants (next street over) have complained about this, reaching out for a solution from the city as no one should have to put up with it. I was told they hear it with the window closed which is insane. Thanks you for your help

    I’ve written about this issue before but the problem continues. The people at this house are extremelly loud and disrespectful to my tenants. There has been screaming from both inside and outside the house, the outside noise being most problematic as the residents here it WITH THEIR WINDOWS CLOSED. I was on the property this evening and have witnessed this so I decided to address it directly. The people were either extremelly high and/or intoxicated and couldn’t even form a proper sentence. There were also young children present. The police need to do something because this is a nuisance for my tenents and I think CPS should also get involved as that is such a horrible environment for kids to experience.

    Train noise is a huge problem!

    The city needs to right their wrong. Either through neglect or incompetence they failed to take the steps agreed to many years ago to keep chelsea a quiet zone.

    It is not acceptable to ask residents to put up with this jarring and disruptive noise for a year plus. Unacceptable Mr. Ambrosino! Stop being so passive and stand for something, do something that will truly help your residents. Do not ask us to write letters to the MBTA and be patient while you hire an expert that costs $100k/yr while we are all disrupted. Make this right!

    Dumpster on second st is very dangerous. You have people trying to turn from Broadway and it’s totally blind/not enough room as it is right near the intersection. I nearly got hit yesterday waiting to pull out off second.

    Liquor store located at the corner of Williams Street and Chestnut Street have a trash barrel on Chestnut Street but they only empty it once a week. The barrel gets filled with 1-2 days and then the trash flies all around the neighborhood.

    I was driving by and la Iglesia La Luz De Cristo 738 Broadway, Chelsea, MA 02150 I saw people going in and music was playing. I thought all churches need to be closed for social distancing and protection of the general public in order to avoid getting sick from the virus.

    This renovation remains a nuisance and danger to the neighborhood. It’s been a year, and there has been NO significant progress. It’s impacting property values, it’s unsafe, it’s attracting people looking for a vacant place to hang out, and it’s in violation of multiple city ordinances.

    There is exposed lead paint on the trim work. The trim that was removed also had lead paint, and it was not properly abated or handled. It was ripped off with no containment measures or regard for the safety of the neighborhood.

    The demo work that has been completed was never cleaned up properly, and as a result there is constantly debris blowing all over the street.

    The dumpster is overflowing. There is trash all over the property. There are numerous pieces of siding just hanging off the building and blowing in the wind.

    It is honestly ridiculous that the city is allowing the owners to leave their property in this state for so long with absolutely no progress on the property.

    There are constantly kids smoking weed in the backyard, and sneaking onto neighboring properties to access the abandoned building.

    Can something please be done beyond just saying “they’re working on the property”? They quite clearly are not working on it at all and it’s past the point of being acceptable.
