Town of Swampscott PLUS

The manhole in the beginning of Ryan Place near Essex Street is sinking in. It’s sinking into the ground deeper and deeper. Can someone please take a look/fix before it gets worse.

Several potholes along the road in front of Stop and Shop. Two are very deep.

Manhole covers are loose . Cars driving over them make incredibly loud noise pollution.

Two years I have been complaining about the horrendous condition at Atlantic Ave/Brown Ave. The depressions in this area have only gotten much worse over this past winter. I don’t understand why its SO difficult to get the town to respond to this problem. Whats it take, Do I have to go to Home Depot and buy cold patch and try to fix it myself ?? I’ve tried and tried to get a response but nothing. Someone from DPW or whoever is supposed to handle these situations try driving up Atalantic Ave. National Grid/Mirra has left this road a mess. When I wake up tomorrow morning to the sound of a truck going over this street depression and believing its coming through the walls of my home I’ll be reminded of what the Town of Swampscott has done the last two years..NOTHING

From Ellis Rd to Burrill Street there are numerous patches in Paradise Road. Over time some have sunk and are now deep depressions. Trucks use this road and travel at higher speeds. Our houses vibrate when this happens causing cracks in plaster walls. There are large cracks in Paradise Road in this area and some holes near Shaw intersection.
