    Can you please ask residents at 153 Elmwood in Swampscott to shovel and de-ice their sidewalk? They seem to only shovel and de-ice from their stairs to their driveway and not the rest of their sidewalk where other neighbors have to walk. Thank you!

    Good morning
    the DPW cleared the path to the gates so they could open and close 3 days ago for access into the town building. However they did not clear the sidewalk and the sidewalk was still left impassable even though the backhoe and the bobcat were used. I called yesterday to have the job completed as there was no walking path on the sidewalk. This is my third attempt please to get this sidewalk cleared. There is literally a shovel width path where you would have to hold on to the fence to go by the mound of snow. Also be careful not to put snow into my driveway as that is what happened two days ago and it was left behind.
    Thank you for all your efforts the snow removal has been quite difficult to keep up with.

    House has not removed any snow on sidewalk. They are on a dangerous curve in the road and due to their lack of snow removal, people walking their dogs have to walk in the road. We have come close to getting hit by cars multiple times since the recent snowstorm due to these sidewalks being unavailable.
