The traffic light on the corner of Ellis and Paradise, on the left side when driving north on 1A/Paradise, is out. Please replace the light.

The crossing light is still not operational.
  • 259-283 Essex St Town of Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - Swampscott
This pedestrian cross light has been out for months.
  • 434-438 Paradise Rd Town of Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - Swampscott
Both of the lights coming out of the CVS plaza, and the Chipotle plaza are very short. It took me 5 traffic lights to get out of the Chipotle side (to go straight).
Why is there a left turn arrow if it's never green... goes directly to blinking yellow. It would be more convenient to let the cvs plaza exit for some time, then the Chipotle plaza, then back to paradise road. Today sitting in traffic there was no one going through the lights at paradise, but a good size line coming out of cvs and Chipotle plazas. I think this needs to be looked into.

The light at the pedestrian crossing is not working again and has not been working for some time. Thanks
  • 144 Stetson Ave Swampscott MA 01907, United States - Swampscott
The light across the high school is not working. It's a very dangerous road and many kids have to cross it multiple times per day

    Lights are out and blinking
  • Burpee Rd & Essex St Town of Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - Swampscott
I recently noticed a traffic light was out at the intersection of Burpee and Essex, where one would turn right onto Burpee. Not sure if this has already been fixed but wanted to draw attention to it just in case. Thank you!
  • Essex St & Loring Ave Town of Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - Swampscott
I recently noticed a green traffic light out at the intersection of Loring Ave and Essex Street, where one can turn left into the Stop & Stop parking lot. Not sure if it has already been fixed but wanted to draw attention to it. Also, one of the green lights on the opposite side of the intersection is starting to go as well.

Light coming from the plaza is extremely short, can only get a couple cars through at a time. Traffic is backing way up into the plaza.

Light sequencing always goes to pedestrian. Was this done intentionally for lights near schools? Seems like a built in sequence to always go to pedestrian walk between traffic rotation. I think this is part of the recent major backups on Essex street during evening rush hour.

Someone else recently submitted a similar issue with Ellis, but I have noticed this one as well:
"The sequence at this light of off, and needs a review. After Route 1A has a red light, Ellis Rd should then have the green light. Instead, the pedestrian walk light is on, every time."
