    Why is it that the town of swampscott continues to just ignore the disgusting terrible broken pavement all through Vinnin Square we’re talking 6 to 7 inch potholes destroying peoples cars and the town of swampscott turned a blind eye to this and just ignores it. Why is this this is ridiculous this is sickening and costing the taxpayer thousands of dollars in repairs to their automobile.

    There is a sinkhole on the roadway in front of 26 Devens Road. It grew from being about 8" long during the day to about 12" long in the early evening - the asphalt is simply crumbling. Please send a crew to fix it before it damages somebody's vehicle.

    The manhole cover marked "DRAIN" in the middle of Paradise Road (Shaw Road and Berkshire intersection) is off. National Water was out here late in the evening this week, and three days last week and last Friday didn't reset the manhole cover correctly.

    Recently vehicles driving over the manhole in the center of 1A (Paradise Rd.) at the intersection of Shaw/Berkshire Rd. it results in a constant loud "CLANG, CLANG" sound as front and back tires hit it. Upon further inspection the manhole cover might not be moving but rather the whole manhole itself as the asphalt around it has sunken in some over the past couple years.

    Can someone please look at this and reset the cover? National Water will not do anything about it (even though they have consistently been lifting this "Drain" cover over the last week/months. MassDot said it was a Town issue.
