Town of Swampscott PLUS

The section of sidewalk that leads from under the train bridge on Burrill Street and around the corner to Columbia Ave. is consistently a filthy disaster area. There is always, always, trash there - for days (sometimes weeks) - and often there are dead critters (birds, squirrels, etc.) floating around and decomposing in their sad stinky fashion. I get that it's a well travelled area, but wouldn't this be all the more reason to give it a little extra attention? It is a gateway to Swampscott after all. Thank you.

Yard waste not collected as scheduled Friday on Atlantic Ave 196 and 180 Atlantic

I filed a complaint on February 8th about the several piles of dog feces in between my property and the property at 54 Foster Road. A letter was sent to the property owner of 54 Foster Road as well as myself informing him of the complaint. As of this date (2/21/24) there are currently 41 piles of dog feces. Evidentially the owner either disregarded the letter sent or failed to notify the occupants. This is the fourth complaint in over a year in regards to the waste as well as the over all lack of upkeep of the property by the owner and occupants. I would appreciate enforcement of the next step in this matter. Thank you!

I hope the street sweeper will clean up the candy along the parade route today.

The trash company left this behind. The bag fit within the barrel. This is absurd.

pile is not secured and each time wind hits trash blows out and about the neighborhood.

We are residents at 2 Atlantic Crossing. We purchased a sticker to have our mattress and box spring hauled away. Online it says one sticker is sufficient for both mattesss and box spring. When the truck came today they refused to take the box spring, saying we needed two stickers. Can you please contact the hauling company and have them remove the box spring?

Trash barrels on the beach. We made multiple complaints and they keep getting closed. Stop closing the complaints and place some barrels. I will put my own barrells on the beach on a weekly basis if it comes down to it.

12-24 Pine St has become the community dump. Not only is it disgusting , it’s also hazardous to the neighbors on Pine and Eerie St. Please do something about this issue!

Trash (pan) left in the street by recycling collectors.

A collector on a JRM recycling truck took garbage (pan) out of the back of the truck and put it in the street. The pan does not belong to this household, nor was it in our recycle bin.
