Quarry blasts shake our house on Walker, sharing to contribute to understanding about blast radius. We always feel them. Today (March 8) was particularly big.

Huge blast that shook whole house. I feel these blasts weekly and there is no way it’s not causing some kind of damage. Today was by far the worst yet.

Since they have resumed after winter's hiatus, the blasts have been more powerful and appear to have a rolling effect. They are louder and stronger.

Another blast, a day after the other.
  • 63 Stetson Ave Swampscott MA 01907, United States - Swampscott
Today's blast shook the whole house. It knocked a picture off the wall and caused all the dishes to start rattling There's no way this didn't cause foundation damage around town
  • 425 Essex Street Swampscott, Massachusetts, 01907 - Swampscott
425 Essex Street Swampscott house has been having construction and no apparent permit - a shed was put up; windows change, toilet was taken out and most likely a lot more, it’s concerning if there are no permits and no town oversight. The construction keeps occurring at night on weekends and / or early morning - town should ensure proper permits have been pulled and work that’s done is legal and will not affect the pipes or any lines around the neighborhood.
