Trash & Recycling IssuesReconhecida3 Mudge St Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - SwampscottThis property is semi vacant. Weeds are growing inside and outside the backyard covering the sidewalk, also back yard waste is abandoned inside and outside the property, I have seen rats running in and out. Do we have a right to expect that this neighbor keeps his property reasonably clean? Is there an ordinance in Swampscott
that enforces laws about blighted properties that cause general deterioration and instability and substantially endanger the health and safety of residents? This is also a fire hazard. -

Trash & Recycling IssuesReconhecidaMonument Ave Town of Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - SwampscottLooks like a rat hole underneath the dog waster disposal bin. Saw it the other day and did see the shredded bags. Today shredded bags which makes me think the rats are dragging the bag poop
Into hole to eat. -
Trash & Recycling IssuesReconhecida223 Puritan Road Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - SwampscottThere are numerous rusty metal pipes at eismens beach that have been there for quite some time. They are a hazard to beachgoers especially children who like to play on the rocks where the metal pipes are. There are more pipes than the one pictured that are sticking out if the sand. I think they should be removed or at least cut as low as possible so that even when the sand and rocks are at their lowest they do not surface. Thank you.

Trash & Recycling IssuesReconhecida91 Pine St Swampscott, Massachusetts, 01907 - SwampscottYesterday I watched someone pull up get out their light blue Bronco and pull out 4 over flow bags and dump them onto our neighbors trash that was awaiting pick up and pull off. This older male has done this several times over the past few weeks. I’m not sure how this is ok, and I’m sure nothing will be done. But isn’t this not ok to be dumping your trash with others on a completely different street ?! Not to mention the amount of over flow bags he tossed and added to our neighbors trash! 4 giant bags of over flow and some other trash items he placed on the ground that the trash didn’t take!

Still no improvement at 77 Pine St. The trash bags have been sitting on the sidewalk/street since 7pm last night (and once again rodents/animals got into them).
The maddening thing is the solution is right there in the rear of the photo. Could someone PLEASE stop by there (or get a hold of the property manager) and tell them to use the spare/old barrels to put the overflow bags in, instead of just placing garbage bags directly onto the ground.
It is obvious the two floors of renters don't care about proper garbage disposal, or the fact they are contributing to the rodent problem on this street. Can the Health Department PLEASE step-in and enforce the City Ordnance on this issue.
Thank you.
