ForestryReconhecida126 Stetson Avenue Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - SwampscottMore branches have fallen from the Norway Maple located at 126 Stetson Ave, Tree ID #2732 also known as subject #9 at the tree hearing held on 3/17/2021. This time nobody was injured but the vinyl siding on my house was damaged.
At the hearing in March it was decided that the tree be heavily pruned and reevaluated. The pruning was never performed and to my knowledge the tree has not been reevaluated.
I would like to request again that this tree be removed before someone is injured and or more property damage occurs.
Also there are branches on the sidewalk that need to be picked up.
Thanks -
ForestryReconhecida2 Clarke Road Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - SwampscottThe tree is dying. Numerous large dead branches. I giant limb fell today from the wind. DPW took it away but it would have killed someone or caused extensive damage to a vehicle. This was reported last year and it's getting worse. Please remove. Thanks for your attention. I'm happy to look at alternatives with the town if we want to replace with a suitable alternative.
Best,
Chris Swartz

ForestryReconhecida21-199 Bellevue Rd Town of Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - SwampscottWasn't sure where to post this request as no category seemed to fit. Can someone look into / have a word with the grounds crew at Tedesco? They are routinely using a gas blower well before the 7am allowed by MA law. They are using the blower for long, uninterrupted periods in these too-early hours as a blow dryer for their tee boxes and greens. The noise issue is a tangible complaint, but the absurdity of blow drying grass before it dries on its own an hour later is particularly offensive.

ForestryReconhecidaElmwood Rd & Sheridan Rd Town of Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - SwampscottMASSIVE hornets nest outside 9 Sheridan Road - bigger than a basketball and very active - hanging from a sidewalk tree and needs urgent action!

ForestryReconhecida80 Magnolia Road Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - SwampscottThis has been reported multiple times. Great-tree does need pruning but there is a large branch completely broken off stuck up in the tree. I can’t believe it hasn’t fallen yet. This is a DANGER to the community. Time to actually DO SOMETHING! My neighbor also called the DPW 2 weeks ago with ZERO response.

ForestryReconhecida202 Atlantic Avenue Swampscott, Massachusetts, 01907 - SwampscottThe tree near the street outside 202 Atlantic Ave.needs to be checked as large roots are going under my lawn and sidewalk and up to the house which could potentially cause damage. The tree has several branches that are just hanging in the tree and also can cause damage.

ForestryReconhecida57 Shepard Avenue Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - SwampscottTwo trees are overgrown. The branches are hanging so low that walkers need to duck. Also the owners are unable to see the street from the house.

ForestryReconhecida87 Magnolia Road Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - SwampscottTree in front of 77 Magnolia has a large branch stuck that will fall. At least two other neighbors have reported it. When will something be done?

ForestryReconhecida53 Lincoln Circle Swampscott, Massachusetts, 01907 - SwampscottWe have a sick tree in front our house which most likely fall on our neighbor's driveway. I noticed that the base of the trunk has a new crack and the tree has lifted on two sides which results in leaning towards my neighbor's yard.
I had another large maple fall on my house a few years back so this is the second beautiful tree that might be lost. How could we get new trees planted in place of the one we lost and now might lose another?
Thanks,
Kim Ryan
