25 Young Avenue Swampscott, Massachusetts, 01907 - Swampscott
The roots to a tree have caused the sidewalk to expand making it impassable and dangerous for children in the neighborhood who ride their bikes, scooters etc. One kid recently wiped out. Additional concern are the tree roots running under my lawn and possibly entwining themselves or damaging the sewer pipes leading from the street to my home. Three issues. Physical danger to people tripping, kids riding their bikes etc over this, sidewalk damage and potential home damage due to tree roots. Thanks for addressing. V. Trask 25 Young Avenue
  • Lincoln Cir & Phillips Ave Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - Swampscott
Speeding car crashed through fence of home here. This is the second accident at this corner in six months. A speed bump or other speed deterrent is needed for everyone’s safety, or even just a speed reader that issues tickets automatically.
  • 421 Essex Street Swampscott, Massachusetts, 01907 - Swampscott
Side walk from 421 Essex street (inclusive of this house and until Shell gas station (399 Essex street) in front of some houses on this stretch still has snow and ice - a week after snow storm. Is there any enforcement on the home owners or oversight from the town to ensure these are cleared up? Kids / adults / strollers etc. use this side walk. Its a safety issue.

The streetlight in front of my house is out.
  • Clark School - Swampscott
There are exterior lights at the Clark School that stay on all day. There has got to be a timer or sensor that is not working correctly. This is a huge waste of resources. There is a light to the left of the Middlesex Ave entrance. Also two lights by door number 6.

This is not a streetlight, it's a utility pole (pretty sure it's only carrying electrical cables). It's badly leaning at the base, looks like damage due to water. Pole is leaning about 20 or 30 degrees from vertical and appears to be leaning into the trees overhead. The wires appear to be under tension and at least one of the ceramic insulators looks bent out of position.

The street light was just replaced. The light is a strong LED type light that is lighting up our entire home from dusk to dawn like Chevy Chase’s Christmas vacation. Our entire home is being invaded by this strong light and the bedrooms are lite up like daytime. Please replace with a less invasive light or put a cap or lid on it to reduce this direct light intrusion. Thank you.

Sorry no category found for (damaged street sign) to the left on photo. Blurry photo so I attached a map. Please replace damaged sign. Thank you.
