Hello, this is now my 3rd request over the span of 5 years. Last I checked in was right after Covid and I was told I was the next in line to be resolved but understandably, everything was backed up. Nothing ever happened. There are 2 cement pieces of sidewalk in front of my house that are severely cracked. They gather water and in winter freeze over. It is a safety hazard, my children and I have slipped and fell multiple times. In addition, its gets worse every year. The crack get bigger and deeper. I am requesting these pieces of the sidewalk are replaced ASAP. Thank you.

it's been like this for a week now the street has no parking as it is when will it be paved

The sidewalks are impassable due to brush overgrowth both from private property through the fences and under the guardrail causing people to walk on the street.

Walkway thru Unitarian Church to Elementary School and school sidewalk icy. Nearly fell this morning taking grandson to school. Please sand or salt area.

COMPLETELY UNSAFE AND I FELL! This sidewalk has been like this all winter! Not safe, a GIANT SHEET OF ICE! do something about this repeat offender or I will sue them! Even the crosswalk access is blocked with a wall of snow! DO YOUR JOB!

Snow was piled into large mound and did not clear the street well making the turn narrow.
Residents of that home are elderly and unable to clear that.

Hello, I'm hoping that somebody can provide me with an update on the status of repaving Jessie St. It's in desperate need of repair, and the nonexistent sidewalk poses challenges for everybody, including neighbors with limited mobility, those who push strollers, and many young kids who are forced to walk in the street to get to the bus stop.

When I reached out in 2022, I was told it would be replaced in 2023. However, National Grid then informed DPW that the gas main needed replacing, and the paving would need to be delayed until a year after the gas main was completed.

Unfortunately, the gas main wasn't replaced in 2023 like planned, but it was replaced in the spring of 2024, and it has now been 1 year. Last year, the director of the DPW said it would be repaved in 2025, and he was committed to also "including a new sidewalk and berm with the paving project".

I, and many of my neighbors, would love any updates about the status of this project. Thanks!

This could be a bigger town issue than for this website, but something should be done about the sidewalks on Burrill under the train. Constantly seeing massive piles of bird poop, trash, even dead birds and parts of dead birds. There has to be a cost-effective option to preventing this problem.
Burrill St was once ranked by Boston Magazine as the best street to live on the North Shore, but I have to carry my toddlers under this bridge to keep them safe from touching or stepping on dead animals and feces that could harm them...
