Town of Swampscott PLUS

The tree is dying. Numerous large dead branches. I giant limb fell today from the wind. DPW took it away but it would have killed someone or caused extensive damage to a vehicle. This was reported last year and it's getting worse. Please remove. Thanks for your attention. I'm happy to look at alternatives with the town if we want to replace with a suitable alternative.

Last night the telephone lines running through this tree in front of our house fell causing the tree to catch fire. Given the proximity to our house we’re deeply concerned this is still posing a danger.

Intersection of Humphrey St and Atlantic Ave, where Humphrey has a yield to merge. The tree/shrubbery in the island/looking left towards M'head is overgrown and needs to be trimmed. Thanks!!

The tree at the corner of Deer Cove and Puritan looks dead. Can someone look at it and treat or remove as needed.

We live behind the Swampscott Middle School. A piece of a tree on the school property fell down last night during the storm, August 7 and onto our back yard. Can it please be removed?

There is a tree that was planted by the town a few years ago in front of our house (on the city strip) that has not ever bloomed. And if it did, it would block the view of oncoming cars from around the bend traveling on Atlantic Ave from Marblehead to Swampscott as we exit our driveway. Another big branch fell on Cherry St last night from dead/diseased trees opposite 65 Cherry St. Can DPW clear up debris and deal with these trees? I'm worried someone or something will be hurt next time. Many thanks!

in front of 67 Monument Ave there is a red maple tree that is looking distressed. The leaves are droopy and wilted looking, there is a lot of fungi at the botton and finally there are many bare branches. Hoping that someone can take a look.

Pine tree at corner on Worcester has branches getting too close to house and power line. Would it be possible for the town to trim the branches?

We have a number of large, old, dead looking trees between our house and our neighbors' which we believe are on a paper road. The last 3 times we have had storms with any wind, large branches have come down ripping power and cable lines off our house as well as smashing both of our cars. our neighbors had to replace their roof due to tree damage as well. Every time there is even a little wind we get decent sized branches in our yard. we would like to take the trees down and would like the town to assess due to the tree ordinance. Thank you.
