This pile has been growing and it's wet, stinks, and today I found their trash on my car! Yes, on my car.

There's so much of it they can't keep it under control.

My car is 20-30' down the adjacent driveway in a covered, reserved parking spot. 5 large boxes and one of these trash barrels. This pile is directly outside of my bedroom and living window as well and it's all I see when I open my blinds. It's unsightly and unsanitary.

Bottom line is it needs to be required to be removed please. This picture shows only half of the pile.

Please have this removed. Thank you.

There is illegally dumped trash at entrance to rail trail on Humphrey Street across from Phillips Avenue. Trash included these items asking with a lot of general litter: large, old television, oversized bean bag chair, and office desk. Can this trash be removed by the Town, please?

Someone dumped a tv on the corner of the greenway and it's been sitting for days

This isn't quite a town trash/recycling issue but there is a tremendous amount of lunch trash from high school students at Jackson park.
  • 77 Pine St Swampscott, MA, 01907, USA - Swampscott

Still no improvement at 77 Pine St. The trash bags have been sitting on the sidewalk/street since 7pm last night (and once again rodents/animals got into them).

The maddening thing is the solution is right there in the rear of the photo. Could someone PLEASE stop by there (or get a hold of the property manager) and tell them to use the spare/old barrels to put the overflow bags in, instead of just placing garbage bags directly onto the ground.

It is obvious the two floors of renters don't care about proper garbage disposal, or the fact they are contributing to the rodent problem on this street. Can the Health Department PLEASE step-in and enforce the City Ordnance on this issue.

    Thank you.

To me it is unacceptable and unfair to have to buy the expensive blue trash bags when you are already paying these extremely high taxes. I have four teenagers and my husband and I living in the house. I cannot keep buying the blue trash bags. Please I would like an alternative solution for a family of 6. Thank you, Selene Noci.
  • 77 Pine Street Swampscott, Massachusetts, 01907 - Swampscott

77 Pine St continues to contribute to the serious rodent infestation on Pine St. This pic was taken on Thursday (4 full days before garbage pick-up). Notice the rodents have already got into the black bag on the ground.

Either the Swampscott's Health Department is unwilling or unable to get this residence to comply with the town's trash regulations, or the out-of-state owner and the two floors of tenants have told the town to go pound sand.

Either way it's tax paying residents that suffer.

The trash cans at Linscott Park and on Humphrey St across from Hawthorne by the Sea were overflowing with trash this morning at 10:00am. Makes a very poor impression of the town and attracts rats.

Trash cans at the entrance to Phillips Beach are overflowing on the weekends. Trash piles up on the ground near the trash cans and blows around. Please put out more trash cans and more recycling bins since much of the trash is recyclable beverage containers.
