Town of Swampscott PLUS

Light sequencing always goes to pedestrian. Was this done intentionally for lights near schools? Seems like a built in sequence to always go to pedestrian walk between traffic rotation. I think this is part of the recent major backups on Essex street during evening rush hour.

Someone else recently submitted a similar issue with Ellis, but I have noticed this one as well:
"The sequence at this light of off, and needs a review. After Route 1A has a red light, Ellis Rd should then have the green light. Instead, the pedestrian walk light is on, every time."

I was crossing the street and the car did not stop until last minute. The driver apologized and said he could not see the light (which had changed) because it was covered by trees. I agreed the leaves block I the light on the right side of the street when you’re driving towards Swampscott from Marblehead.

The street light has been out for over a week on that corner.

the walk light does not work at the intersection of Essex and Stetson

The three lights at the intersection near Columbia Ave and Essex Street are all broken and it’s a giant yield because the lights just flash red all the time. It also causes the plates in the driveways on that street not to work due to all the lights not working properly.

The traffic light on the corner of Ellis and Paradise, on the left side when driving north on 1A/Paradise, is out. Please replace the light.

Pedestrian cross light does not work at the intersection by Stetson.

Can you get together with Salem and figure out how to make the traffic signals work at Vinnin Square?

The light at Burrill st and Essex st last about 5 mins on the Burrill st side sometimes It's dangerous

Both of the lights coming out of the CVS plaza, and the Chipotle plaza are very short. It took me 5 traffic lights to get out of the Chipotle side (to go straight).
Why is there a left turn arrow if it's never green... goes directly to blinking yellow. It would be more convenient to let the cvs plaza exit for some time, then the Chipotle plaza, then back to paradise road. Today sitting in traffic there was no one going through the lights at paradise, but a good size line coming out of cvs and Chipotle plazas. I think this needs to be looked into.

The light at the pedestrian crossing is not working again and has not been working for some time. Thanks
