    425 Essex Street Swampscott house has been having construction and no apparent permit - a shed was put up; windows change, toilet was taken out and most likely a lot more, it’s concerning if there are no permits and no town oversight. The construction keeps occurring at night on weekends and / or early morning - town should ensure proper permits have been pulled and work that’s done is legal and will not affect the pipes or any lines around the neighborhood.

This is not acceptable for residential neighborhoods. The noise travels far and this needs to be addressed. Please work with them and ask to install sound barriers around the area where they do grinding and loading.

    The quarry blast today, Oct 30, 2024, at 1 p.m. was very severe. My entire house shook. My furniture and everything on my walls moved. We experience some rumbles on this side of the forest, but I have never in 13 years had a blast create that much havoc in my house. It felt like an earthquake.
