    Curb repair work has made sidewalk inaccessible for people with mobility devices. No detour for people using a walker, wheelchair, etc. is available. No sloped ramps connecting sidewalk to street are available. People using these devices cannot safely navigate this intersection while work is being done, and would have to completely reroute up the hill and down another street.

    When the sidewalk and the handicap ramp were replaced on the corner of Wyoming Ave and Dutton St. the mortar in the wall of 129 Wyoming Ave. was cracked and some of it crumbled from the wall. Would it be possible for the city of repair this small section?

    The street and sidewalks were opened up in April 2023 to replace lead water piping. They were temporarily patched but the company never returned to mill and overlay the entire road as the contractor said they would. With the freeze/thaw of winter, the street crumbling and forming potholes. Some of the granite curbs were also left askew and misaligned leaving potential for car damage issues when parking. There has been a lot of media coverage of the state approving $200M for reconstruction and maintenance of municipal roads so this would be a great place to apply a little bit of that.

    This is a general request for the city of malden to repave all of Hillside Ave and Hillside Ter. This summer, At least 4 months of heavy duty construction work to replace a water main has left the steep hill a very uneven and hazardous zone. No final paving was ever completed, just a mix of patchwork pours. Please help us make our community safer.

    In addition to Medford St, we also DESPERATELY need lines painted on MANY streets around Malden including Eastern Ave (between Main & Ferry), Bryant St (from Boylston St/Harvard St to the Everett line) and Ferry St (from just past Goldman’s to Eastern Ave).

    PLEASE! The sooner the better for everyone’s safety! No one stays to their side of the yellow lines these days anyhow, but, hopefully having the lines painted will keep more people closer to where they are supposed to be! Thank you in advance!
