    They dug up the road to give us new piping which we are thankful for. Unfortunately the re-paving of Madison st is horrible. Sound like a bomb invasion.
    When trucks with trailers, trucks, firetrucks, ambulances even cars are making the bumps around bad.
    This is a heavily traveled road which means no sleep because of the noise pollution.
    Please help us some peace. We can't rest or sleep with this kind of noise. Thanks in advance.

    I wanted to reach out now that we have experienced a couple of winters with the sidewalk (re-worked in '23) and raise an issue/safety hazard. In the fall of 2023 we noticed the sidewalk section at the crosswalk was pitched in the wrong direction - away from the street. At the time the sidewalk installer said this was not an issue.

    However, after a couple of winters we've noticed this low-point has become a major hazard as water pools there and icing becomes a persistent issue - and therefore a hazard for pedestrians.

    We have heard that sidewalk work will be occurring on this section in the near future and wanted to see if it would be possible to re-work this section of concrete to slope towards the street to fix this issue going forward.

    Hello, may we have crosswalks painted at the intersection of Granville Ave and Fairview? It’s a large intersection with no obvious markings for cars. Drivers cut across the space all the time. There are young children in the neighborhood and while the yellow markings on the sidewalk are nice, once we are in the street, it is unsafe. Thank you.
