EVERYONE knows that Medford St has been in poor shape for quite some time!!! When milling started LAST MONTH a ray of hope came to all who travel the local roadway daily! It was promised that the road wouldn’t be left in that condition “for too long”. Now about 5 weeks later we still have a heavily traveled main road in deplorable, unpaved condition. YES, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I TOTALLY AGREE!!!

Instead of photo opps across the city why doesn’t our current mayor - who is running for re-election by the way - DO SOMETHING???!!! ENOUGH PROMISES!!! Our vehicles have been taking a beating every time we navigate Medford Street!!!

Now it’s Friday. That means yet ANOTHER weekend with the unpaved roadway left as/is. THIS IS JUST MADDENING!!! EVERY DRIVER IN MALDEN (AS WELL AS THOSE JUST PASSING THROUGH) SHOULD VOICE THEIR CONCERNS AND FRUSTRATIONS!!! DON’T JUST SIT BACK AND LET A FEW STICK UP FOR ALL MALDEN DRIVERS!!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

…. and while you are re-marking Medford St. don’t forget Ferry St near Eastern Bank and Bryant Street along the Malden/Everett Line … Bryant St in particular has been unmarked for quite some time!!!

Medford st has been torn up for over a month No attempt to save our cars from exposed manhole covers and huge gaps between pavements Work has completely stopped, again Who is managing this project? When will it be done? This is unacceptable

Raymond Street is in poor condition and poses a hazard for cars entering and exiting to their properties. This street serves 4 properties and would be extremely valuable to the residents. Requesting an assessment as a candidate for full repave.

Construction seems to have stopped for 2+ weeks. Massive potholes and exposed man hole covers.

When will Vernon Street be repaved from last year’s work that was done to the street?

What did the residents of Medford Street, Green Street and Bell Rock do to warrant weeks upon weeks of insufferable night work? Did we accidentally offend someone at City Hall or does the city just not care about the inhabitants in this part of Ward 1? This is, once again,s incredibly noisy and very disruptive, making it impossible to slep I don’t care how busy this road is during the day, there are plenty of other streets that do NOT have residential properties (like Charles Street) that the city can divert the cars to so that this work can get done during normalDAYLIGHT working hour sp
