A couple of weeks back they replaced water pipes on the street to sidewalk. When laying the cement they left a huge gap between the driveway and the sidewalk and the front of the flower bed. It’s a hazard. When winter comes it’s going to be a issue for myself getting in my drive way. This is the second complaint I’ve made about this issue and nothing has been done.

While walking with a neighbor who is in a wheelchair last night we found that there are no curb cuts in the sidewalk on either side of the driveway to the T parking lot. Could those please be added? My neighbor would like to travel to Malden center with less doubling back and less jaywalking.
  • Exchange St Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 4
Exchange street parking has become a hazard
  • Eastern Ave Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 7
Please explain the newly painted lines in every direction. With the solid lines, drivers cannot even pull over for emergency vehicles. Friends and family from outside Malden are asking what in the world do these lines mean? Please explain

49 Washington St Malden MA 02148, United States - Malden Ward 4
Another prime example of road construction going on and absolutely no notification that the street you’re currently driving on is closed and you cannot go all the way through so you must turn around and go back the way you came. I’m unsure why it is such a hassle to provide residents notification at the beginning of a street at the street is in fact closed.
  • 103 Granite St Malden MA 02148, United States - Malden Ward 6
Street dug up for repaving Didn't leave access for driveway Left a 6 inch lip Supposedly by the city notice , that is taken care of nightly ,.
  • Eastern Ave & Hillside Ave Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 1
Before the repaving of Eastern Avenue, there was a crosswalk . The crosswalk has not been repainted, but the sidewalk ramp remains. I presume this was missed rather than abandoned.

When is the city coming back to fix the pavement and driveway after the water line replacement?
  • 40 Claremont St Malden MA 02148, United States - Malden Ward 8
I am again curious why road work is being done in the Linden School area and as a home owner in that area I find this out due to a detour sign in front of my driveway? Could you please notify the neighborhood before having a major detour running through it all day?
  • 59 Glen Rock Avenue Malden, Massachusetts, 02148 - Malden Ward 3
Glenrock Ave’s road condition is deplorable. The street has experienced heavy construction vehicles from Melrose (Brazil St) last fall and all summer to the ongoing Malden gas upgrades. It feels like a small earthquake in my house each time a truck or school bus passes by plus items are falling to the floor from the vibrations. I’m not sure how to solve this problem but would appreciate it if you could think of something.
  • 494 Medford Street Malden, Massachusetts, 02148 - Malden Ward 2
The recent lane change configuration at the intersection of Medford St. and the Fellsway has created a situation where vehicles traveling east on Medford Street are going over double yellow line to access the left turn line. Before this change, vehicles traveling east would access the left turn lane if they were turning left OR going straight through the intersection onto Central St. Medford. Now vehicles traveling straight OR turning right are in the right lane - creating a long line of traffic further back on Medford St. Drivers appear to get frustrated and go over the double yellow line to access the left lane ahead. Additionally, thee seems to be a shorter time allowance on the green arrow for those turning left onto the Fellsway, This has created a very dangerous situation outside my home at 494 Medford Street particularly between 7:15 - 7:45 AM on weekday mornings. On numerous occasions since school has been back in session, we have almost been hit by vehicles crossing the double-yellow line near our home. I will reach out to the state police also as I think they oversee the Fellsway as a road. The intersection lights need to go back to the old configuration/timing. We have lived here since 2013 and prior to the change at the lights, this was never a problem. Thank you!
  • Clifton St & Linden Ave Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 4
This stop sign on the intersection of Clifton and Linden Ave. heading towards Main Street is set back from the road and we have seen a number of people blow right past it. Seems like an accident waiting to happen and have heard this from a number of other Maldonians. If possible to move closer to the road it would be much more visible.
