After street paving the crew left two panels of sidewalk missing on Floral/Goodwin Are they coming back to fix it?

Hi, since Hawthorne Street is currently being re-paved, will it be possible to repair the sidewalk in front of 26 Hawthorne and re-add the curb (see photo)? We are the property owners, and the drive way no longer exists here so adding a curb to the sidewalk makes sense. Thank you.

EVERYONE knows that Medford St has been in poor shape for quite some time!!! When milling started LAST MONTH a ray of hope came to all who travel the local roadway daily! It was promised that the road wouldn’t be left in that condition “for too long”. Now about 5 weeks later we still have a heavily traveled main road in deplorable, unpaved condition. YES, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I TOTALLY AGREE!!!

Instead of photo opps across the city why doesn’t our current mayor - who is running for re-election by the way - DO SOMETHING???!!! ENOUGH PROMISES!!! Our vehicles have been taking a beating every time we navigate Medford Street!!!

Now it’s Friday. That means yet ANOTHER weekend with the unpaved roadway left as/is. THIS IS JUST MADDENING!!! EVERY DRIVER IN MALDEN (AS WELL AS THOSE JUST PASSING THROUGH) SHOULD VOICE THEIR CONCERNS AND FRUSTRATIONS!!! DON’T JUST SIT BACK AND LET A FEW STICK UP FOR ALL MALDEN DRIVERS!!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

…. and while you are re-marking Medford St. don’t forget Ferry St near Eastern Bank and Bryant Street along the Malden/Everett Line … Bryant St in particular has been unmarked for quite some time!!!

They replaced numerous sidewalks in the area that were not damaged or in need of replacement. Why did they stop short of replacing the sidewalk that really needed to be replaced!!! Apparently no one from the city engineers office actually is paying attention. Please replace this dangerous portion of this busy sidewalk ASAP.

The Construction crew left a rusty sewer lid and piping on the sidewalk. It's been sitting there for months. Please have the construction crew do a full scan of all Ward 7 locations. They seem to have forgotten to clear a lot of this material. I know this isn't the first comment on 311 about construction debris being left out on sidewalks.

I have lived on the street for over 20 years and I have seen very minimal upkeep of my street outside of small patch jobs for plumbing and electric related issues. Our street is in dire need of repayment and I'd lie to put in a request to have the street added to the priority list of streets that need to be attended to.
