Ferry St & Boylston St Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 7This National Grid project that has turned Ferry Street into an outright DISASTER AREA, once completed SHOULD INCLUDE (just as our neighbors in Everett) FULL REPAVEMENT OF THE ENTIRE DISRUPTED ROADWAY! How can Malden allow National Grid to leave the area and get away with only patching??! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ABSURD! Everett has repaved from Glendale Square right up to the Malden line! MALDEN residents DESERVE THE SAME! Someone from the city should make sure National Grid does not just tear up our roadway for their benefit, just patch and leave! As a long time Malden taxpayer I find this TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! WE DESERVE BETTER! SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE A STAND AND SPEAK UP!

34 Stearns Street Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 7Whoever planned the new sidewalk did not consider the neighborhood. There is limited parking on Holyoke Street and the new sidewalk reduced the number of parking spots on the street (corner of Stearns St and Holyoke St). A car is always parked at the very corner of the street. People even reserve it after a snow storm. Before the new sidewalk residents did not park at the very corner so people can cross Holyoke Street. Now the corner is always blocked. The sidewalk is always hidden, making a previously safe corner to cross to a dangerous corner. Please don’t punish the residents by issuing them tickets because the city poorly planned out the new sidewalk. Please move the sidewalk to the appropriate location. The sidewalk needs to be at the corner not a full car spot away.

Street Construction AbertaChestnut St & Summer St Malden, Massachusetts, 02148 - Malden Ward 3Chestnut St. is awful. Left in a mess I assume all weekend, Can’t get it in my driveway, equipment everywhere, every tree looks like it was hit by a truck. This is terrible.

Sidewalk or Curb RepairAberta11-29 Bowdoin St Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 7
Last year city of Malden hired a company to do the side walk on Bowdoin st, the work performed was subpar as best. The sidewalks aren't even and they cut in to the driveway of everyones property without permission of the homeowners. They removed perfect grass and soil from the grass beds at the sidewalk to perform the work and filed back with gravel that don't grow grass. This kind of work is not acceptable and it baffles me that no one from the city work department supervised and inspected the work upon completion.

Fall St PavingReconhecida17 Fall Street Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 3Any update on when they will be returning for finish paving on Fall St? The edges are pretty rough right now and water was pooling after the recent rain. We had our cars parked elsewhere for the entire week 11/7-11/17 and no work was done.

90 Converse Avenue Malden, Massachusetts, 02148 - Malden Ward 1I was told by Councillor Crowe that Converse Avenue would be graded and repaved by end of Fall.
I have been told this several times and hope it is not a False Hood as the Avenue could pass a way to see if your shocks will hold up. -
Sidewalk or Curb RepairReconhecida32 Seaview Avenue Malden, Massachusetts, 02148 - Malden Ward 5We recently had out side walk repaired ( on Baker Street) and while the side walks were getting repaired the folks damaged our side of the property on Baker Street (stone wall) and at the time we were told that they will just put it back without cementing it and after the side walk work is complete, they will cement it and put it back properly. It looks like they never cemented it back and this week it all came down again. I would appreciate if you would send someone to fix this. Please let me know if you need any further information.

OtherAberta49 Washington St Malden MA 02148, United States - Malden Ward 4Another prime example of road construction going on and absolutely no notification that the street you’re currently driving on is closed and you cannot go all the way through so you must turn around and go back the way you came. I’m unsure why it is such a hassle to provide residents notification at the beginning of a street at the street is in fact closed.

ENOUGH OF THE CITY'S PAVING CONTRACTORS USING PRIVATE RESIDENTS' TRASH BINS!!!!! STOP ACTING LIKE DIRTBAGS!!!!!
I just went to put something in my recycling bin, which is located AT THE BACK OF MY DRIVEWAY, ON PRIVATE PROPERTY, and found whatever the heck this is in my bin. This is the second time that I have reported about the City's paving contractor putting their trash in private residents' bins. I see that my neighbor at the bottom of the street also has a recent report about the same issue.
C'mon. Seriously? What kind of low-class, unprofessional contractors is the City hiring? What am I supposed to do with this trash that does not belong in my recycling bin? We PAY for our blue bags to throw OUR trash away. I'm not wasting a blue bag on SOMEONE ELSE'S trash.
WHEN IS THIS NONSENSE GOING TO END?????????????
