  • Bell Rock St & Green St Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 1
It's bad enough that our neighborhood is the designated construction yard for Charles Contracting, but can they at least can keep their public private property tidy instead of dumping everything all over the cemetery border and making it difficult to navigate an already treacherous area to navigate? They are ruining what was a somewhat nice area to walk. Last week there was a dead rabbit that was obviously crushed by them just lying there, massive stone blocks, and now a pile of barrels. Don't we put up with enough @#$% over here with Lem's ineptitude?
  • 49 John St Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 2
Approximately 2 months ago a new sidewalk was installed in front and side of our property at 49 John St/Medford St (a six unit building). In doing so part of our driveway was dug up and never repaired. After numerous phone to the engineering dept we have been unable to speak with anyone regarding this. A tenant did trip into the sidewalk which is an area of 6" wide X 14' long. There is also a problem on the Medford St side. We would like to fix this as soon as possible so no one is seriously injured. Please call phone number below. Also we do need to notify tenants so they can move their vehicles from driveway area.

Please replace the small single one-way sign at the corner of Madison and Medford St. heading to Bellrock with two(2) large signs as cars are trying to enter the one-way.

  • Maplewood St & Northern Strand Community Trl Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 6

How has this not been addressed yet? Who is overseeing this project for the city? Do you care about the handicap and accessibility laws? Or are we just about bikes?

Looks like it is time for another complaint to the state, just like Oak Grove Community Center. How much has that cost the city in fines?

  • 11 Swains Pond Avenue Malden, Massachusetts, 02148 - Malden Ward 6
Every time it rains, even a little shower like we had today, this section of Swains Pond Ave. across from number 11 and beside the In and Out convenience store floods and stays there for days. There is a catch basin a little further down Swains Pond Avenue but the water does not drain to it.
Steve Winslow our Ward 6 Councilor once told me he is on a committee to address these draining issues.
Well this is his Ward 6 so why hasn’t this been fixed? This is right next to the convenient store there and buses use behind the store as a turn around and it makes all mud that never dries.
This water problem has been there for years. Please once and for all fix this section of the street so the water drains to the catch basin.
The sidewalk gets completely flooded and impassable for days.
Thanks for your quick attention to this flood problem which has been there for at least a few years.
  • 3 Fairlawn St Malden MA 02148, United States - Malden Ward 4
Does anyone know when Fairlawn and Autumn streets will have the sidewalk and streets replaced? We had a neighborhood meeting two years ago with Councilor O'Malley and we were told they were going to be replaced. I am sure Mr. Knox and Mr. O'Malley monitor this app. Can this please put on the priority list.

Happy 4th! There are 2 sections of Bower St in between the perpendicular streets Fall/Wiley that are in need of repair. The residents would greatly appreciate if these 2 sections could be addressed. Thank you for all your hard work!
  • 49-99 Blomerth St Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 3

"No Parking" signs were placed along the west side of upper Blomerth St. yesterday (Wed., 10/25) afternoon. The signs are dated for today, 10/26. No work has occurred today.

Why was parking prevented today? As has been mentioned several times is previous reports, many residents in this neighborhood do not have off-street parking. Requiring residents to park in a different section of the neighborhood creates a hardship for residents with young children and limited mobility.

The signs are still there, but the date has not been updated. According to the signage, residents can now park in this area again. Is the contractor planning on doing the work TOMORROW, 10/27, even though their signs are dated for TODAY, 10/26? Will cars parked on the street tomorrow be ticked or towed, even though they are not in violation of the signage?

Once again, residents are being treated with zero regard by the engineering department and its contractors. Is this EVER going to improve? WHEN ARE WE GOING TO RECEIVE BETTER COMMUNICATION ABOUT CONSTRUCTION WORK AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS?

  • 183 Exchange St Malden, MA 02148, USA - Malden Ward 4
There is no "One Way" sign at the bottom of Abbott Street indicating that you can't turn right on Exchange Street. Saw two cars go the wrong way down Exchange within a couple minutes of one another this afternoon. Very dangerous.
