The recent lane change configuration at the intersection of Medford St. and the Fellsway has created a situation where vehicles traveling east on Medford Street are going over double yellow line to access the left turn line. Before this change, vehicles traveling east would access the left turn lane if they were turning left OR going straight through the intersection onto Central St. Medford. Now vehicles traveling straight OR turning right are in the right lane - creating a long line of traffic further back on Medford St. Drivers appear to get frustrated and go over the double yellow line to access the left lane ahead. Additionally, thee seems to be a shorter time allowance on the green arrow for those turning left onto the Fellsway, This has created a very dangerous situation outside my home at 494 Medford Street particularly between 7:15 - 7:45 AM on weekday mornings. On numerous occasions since school has been back in session, we have almost been hit by vehicles crossing the double-yellow line near our home. I will reach out to the state police also as I think they oversee the Fellsway as a road. The intersection lights need to go back to the old configuration/timing. We have lived here since 2013 and prior to the change at the lights, this was never a problem. Thank you!

The completion of these sidewalk sections has been incomplete for months. What is the hold up?

New crossing installed with detectable warning panels. There is a a 2 inch step from the sidewalk to the street making it inaccessible to mobility devices and defeating the purpose of a updated crossing.

There needs to be lines drawn so you can tell what lane you are in. Commercial Street is a main road and it is very dangerous without line markings especially in the dark

I am a resident on Kenmore Road and would like to know why the City Engineer is unreachable and allowed to work from home today when Kenmore Road and Autumn Street have no water until 3pm or later? How is this reasonable?

Approximately 2 months ago a new sidewalk was installed in front and side of our property at 49 John St/Medford St (a six unit building). In doing so part of our driveway was dug up and never repaired. After numerous phone to the engineering dept we have been unable to speak with anyone regarding this. A tenant did trip into the sidewalk which is an area of 6" wide X 14' long. There is also a problem on the Medford St side. We would like to fix this as soon as possible so no one is seriously injured. Please call phone number below. Also we do need to notify tenants so they can move their vehicles from driveway area.

In 2021 I requested my street to be repaved and was told it was done. Well, it had yet to be fixed and is in dire need to be taken care of. Just check the picture that is in the archives.

Is this intersection on the list for getting real walk signals and better lights? It is a very busy intersection with people speeding toward the Fellsway or down highland. And there are lots of pedestrians with both Mystic Valley and Beebe nearby.

Street was replaced but the crosswalk was not painted

Does anyone know when Fairlawn and Autumn streets will have the sidewalk and streets replaced? We had a neighborhood meeting two years ago with Councilor O'Malley and we were told they were going to be replaced. I am sure Mr. Knox and Mr. O'Malley monitor this app. Can this please put on the priority list.
