  • 33-35 Bainbridge Street Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 5
The center line on lower Bainbridge St. was removed and repainted at 1:30 AM on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020. Firstly, that was absolutely ridiculous to even occur in the first place and I, among other residents, "thank you" for waking us up for that. However, now there is another problem that was easily foreseeable. The new line was moved too far over and now chokes the street even more. Personally, I'd like to see how a firetruck or snowplow can stay within that restricted lane when they come down the street without potentially causing damage or possibly an accident. The original line was fine, if parking was the problem, how about putting up a sign first. Also now the newly paved street has a grooved line in the center, please fix.
  • 54 Mountain Avenue Malden Centre, Malden, MA 02148, United States of America - Malden Ward 4
For well over a decade, probably more that a couple decades, the catch basin at 54 Mountain Ave completely backs up and flows Mountain Ave at Everett St. Please assign this to the City Engineer for reconstruction. No not close ticket until complete.
  • 39 Garden Street Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 6
Ever since the road was fixed this has been happening
  • Ferry St & Boylston St Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 7
This National Grid project that has turned Ferry Street into an outright DISASTER AREA, once completed SHOULD INCLUDE (just as our neighbors in Everett) FULL REPAVEMENT OF THE ENTIRE DISRUPTED ROADWAY! How can Malden allow National Grid to leave the area and get away with only patching??! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ABSURD! Everett has repaved from Glendale Square right up to the Malden line! MALDEN residents DESERVE THE SAME! Someone from the city should make sure National Grid does not just tear up our roadway for their benefit, just patch and leave! As a long time Malden taxpayer I find this TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! WE DESERVE BETTER! SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE A STAND AND SPEAK UP!
  • 49 Playstead Road Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 5
Hello, there is a porta potty in front of my house because of the construction going on which I’ve been dealing with for a few weeks but now the construction has moved further down and I’d like the potty moved. Aside from the smell and the flies that greet me when I get home, cars also park in front of it, making it challenging for me to pull into my driveway. Can you please have this moved since the workers are done on this part of our street? It’d be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

1–15 Willow St Malden MA 02148, United States - Malden Ward 7
Harvard Street, willow, Henry, ferry and many other streets were completely hacked apart during national grids work. I live in this neighborhood and haven’t seen any work crews here in weeks. Tufts paving was overseeing the asphalt work. Get them. To fix these hack patch jobs. It’s pathetic that a city clerk allows those type of work to pass even as temp work. It shouldn’t take 6 months for NG to come back to finish and get a proper patch done. I work construction in Boston and these patches are complete hack! Let’s hold some people accountable instead of passing the buck all the time. Thank you stay safe
  • 473–499 Cross St Malden MA 02148, Verenigde Staten - Malden Ward 7
Please install No Turn On Red signs for both directions of Bryant Street. There are now bike two stage turn boxes in front of those approaches, therefore to comply with the MUTCD, no turn on red (R10-11) signs are required to be installed Thank you
  • 46 James Street Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 1
We recently had a new fence installed and with the current work being done on Medford and James Street, there now exists a very deep gap and our fence is no longer secure. Also we have a small dog that digs on the corner and may get out and if that happens it could get hit by a car. Please let us know when this gap will be repaired. When a heavy rain happens, there is also the danger of our soil washing out and making our fence ever less stable. Please help with this matter asap.
  • 34 Stearns Street Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 7
Whoever planned the new sidewalk did not consider the neighborhood. There is limited parking on Holyoke Street and the new sidewalk reduced the number of parking spots on the street (corner of Stearns St and Holyoke St). A car is always parked at the very corner of the street. People even reserve it after a snow storm. Before the new sidewalk residents did not park at the very corner so people can cross Holyoke Street. Now the corner is always blocked. The sidewalk is always hidden, making a previously safe corner to cross to a dangerous corner. Please don’t punish the residents by issuing them tickets because the city poorly planned out the new sidewalk. Please move the sidewalk to the appropriate location. The sidewalk needs to be at the corner not a full car spot away.
  • Exchange St Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 4
Exchange street parking has become a hazard
  • Highland Ave Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 2
When traveling north on Highland Ave and approaching Medford Street there are signs that indicate the right lane is for right turns only. However, there are no lane markings. There is no right lane. This section of road was repaved earlier in the year and the lane markings for the right lane were not repainted. This is causing some drivers to drive straight from what should be the turning lane. Can the markings for the right turning lane please be repainted? The right turning lane had been there for years and it should be repainted for safety sake.

49 Washington St Malden MA 02148, United States - Malden Ward 4
Another prime example of road construction going on and absolutely no notification that the street you’re currently driving on is closed and you cannot go all the way through so you must turn around and go back the way you came. I’m unsure why it is such a hassle to provide residents notification at the beginning of a street at the street is in fact closed.
