Weed Abatement - Public Right of WayAcknowledged1977 Pleasant Valley Ave Oakland, California, 94611 - Piedmont AvenueWeeds are so high in the center median area between Montgomery Street and Gilbert Street. When making a left hand turn from Pleasant Valley onto Mather Street, cannot see cars coming up the hill. The weeds are too tall. It is unsafe! Someone's car will get hit by cars coming up the hill between Gilbert and Montgomery.

Weed Abatement - Public Right of WayAcknowledged1778 Pleasant Valley Ave Oakland, California, 94611 - Piedmont AvenueDear Manager(s):
I kindly request the median strip in front of our home be mowed, and weed tarp applied. I further ask sustainable low-maintenance flowers/low-growing shrubs or succulents be planted. The cross walk at the corner is frequently used by pedestrians. This maintenance would help pedestrians be more visible to motor vehicles and it would lend beauty to a frequently walked area of Oakland. Thank you for your consideration. -

Weed Abatement - Public Right of WayAcknowledged1715 Gouldin Rd Oakland, CA, 94611, USA - MerriwoodThere is a pathway from behind Thornhill school up to Alhambra Lane that my children travel when they walk home from school. Lately, this pathway has felt more unsafe. The culvert and steps leading up the path are badly broken, leaves remain uncleared and the bushes have become overgrown blocking site to what is around you, as well as to safer footing. The result is a nearly uncrossable pathway. This pathway provides a more direct way for my children to travel home without having to walk along Gouldin Rd where there are cars driving to fast and no sidewalks. While constructed steps and a repaired culvert would be ideal, at the least we are hoping for weed abatement and leaves to be cleared.
