Multiple calls were placed to DPS concerning the standing water. At least one message was left for a supervisor. Last week we were assured that someone would be out to investigate the issue. But no one from DPS came out to investigate. (Today), the trash cans were floating in the flooded water, and a senior citizen almost fell trying to remove the cans from the standing water. Furthermore, whenever it rains the street is flooded in front of 1755 Meadowlane Street. Once, again we are requesting assistance from the city of Inkster. Thank you.

Broken Drainage

back in September the sidewalk was replaced on my street. I’m on Grandview , middle belt and cherry hill. The side walk that was previously there was as high as the new sidewalk is therefore it has a created a huge bump when I leave in and out of my driveway. Now that we are in the winter months when it rains there is a huge puddle of water in my driveway when it rains and a sheet of glass when it snows and freezes. Here are picture showing the gap. The city came back out about a month later to redo something and when we expressed our concern to the workers they told us it’s our problem but on the other hand they tried to patch it up which brings me to believe the concrete was never laid correctly.
