Sidewalk on north side of Sherman simply ends with no crosswalk to get across to the other side. Lots of worn areas past it show people are still trying to walk here. Since the road is wider than necessary, please consider a future project to construct an infill sidewalk by using existing road space and shifting out the curb line, maybe when this road is due for repaving anyways.

There is a large chunk of concrete missing from the sidewalk in front of Miller Library. A hazardous condition to be sure, but especially for the many senior citizens that use it daily.

Sidewalk & curb has worn away, needs to be replaced

The sidewalk adjacent to Augur field - ( opposite Jaenicke La)- needs replacement. I believe the field is a Hamden Hall School property.

Sidewalk is damaged on the driveway for 52 Mather Street, which is a corner lot. The driveway is actually on Belmont Street, around the corner from Mather Street.

Sidewalk damaged in multiple places creating a trip hazard.

Part of the sidewalk is gone, and part is caved in, making it a trip hazard. For about 20 years I’ve called and always told I was on a list, but it’s never been repaired.

I reported this section some years ago - but recently the slab has fully broken and some of the pieces now shift when they are stepped on. This is a major tripping hazard at this point.
