1312 Whitney Ave Hamden, CT, 06517, USA - HamdenThe sidewalks around the me Citgo station are obstructed but very high snow piles. Especially at the CT Transit bus stop. This is an issue at this property every time it snows.

2045 Dixwell Ave Hamden, Connecticut, 06514 - HamdenI was driving an unable to take a photo. The corner of Connolly and Dixwell has not been shoveled. High school students are standing on 5 foot piles of snow trying to cross the street. The company that maintains the property needs to be held responsible for cleanup. A proper path should be dug at the crosswalk. This is an accident waiting to happen at the expense of our children. Please enforce quickly!

Sidewalk Snow RemovalAcknowledged2364 State St Hamden, Connecticut, 06517 - HamdenWe have called the management company for the complex, they said the plow guys were coming back out to clean earlier today, they came and did nothing but sprinkle a tiny bit of salt. This morning my car almost slid right onto State Street because the whole complex was a sheet of ice, and my car failed to stop at the stop sign. The walkways to enter the apartments are covered in ice. As you can see in the pictures, they didn't even touch the sidewalks that are on State Street and if I'm not mistaken, it's their responsibility.

Sidewalk Snow RemovalAcknowledged36-206 Bender Rd Hamden, CT, 06518, USA - HamdenHi. The house at the corner of Bender and the cul-de-sac and the rest of that side of the street towards Nolan rd (from Bender) never clear their sidewalks. I understand this storm is an anomaly but they never do it. My kids have to walk down the road to the bus in the street now which poses a safety risk and they've almost gotten hit twice. Any ideas how we can get neighbors to fulfill their responsibility of clearing sidewalks?

Fern St & Wood St Hamden, CT, 06517, USA - HamdenOn Thursday, Public Works came through the neighborhood cleaning up residual snow. Unfortunately, they pushed huge piles of snow and ice onto both corners at the intersection of Fern and Wood, further piling it across the sidewalks and onto the lawns. It is impossible to pass and, due to its compactness and slabs of ice, needs professional equipment to remove it. These corners and the sidewalks had previously been cleared. The town needs to clear the sidewalks and provide access to cross the streets both ways at both of these corners. Thanks.

Sherman Ave & Sherman Ln Hamden, Connecticut, 06514 - Hamden_Feature 001I totally understand how busy everyone is with the recent snow and appreciate how hard everyone is working. When time permits, if someone could shovel at least a path between this bus shelter and the road, it would be really helpful. Thank you!

1492-1500 Whitney Ave Hamden, Connecticut, 06517 - Hamden
The sidewalk on Whitney Ave. between North Lake and Waite, in front of the reservoir property, is never shoveled. It’s a major pedestrian and bus route and with the amount of snow we’re getting this weekend I’m worried it could get quite dangerous
(Attached photo is from an earlier snowfall, just to give location)

Sidewalk Snow RemovalAcknowledgedSchool St Hamden, Connecticut, 06518 - Hamden_Feature 001Not the sidewalk, but there isn’t an option for snow removal on the street. On School Street the snow was plowed from the roadway but not the parking spots along the street.

49 Douglas Dr Hamden, Connecticut, 06518 - HamdenMailbox got buried beyond our ability to shovel out. I made a path but the postal service came by and said they won’t deliver until it’s cleared. We need the town to come back and clear it. For the future please don’t bury our mailbox. The snow can go a few feet to the left. We complained about this in the past and it stopped for a while but started again so please, don’t bury our mailbox anymore. Thank you.
