Sidewalk impassable - overgrown with brush and weeds

The retaining wall between the Miller Library Building and the DeMatteo Building at 2911 Dixwell Avenue is a safety hazard. I do not know if this wall is town property but the top 3 levels of brickwork is not secure and many bricks have fallen! Many more are detached and ready to come down. The structural integrity of this wall is totally compromised and should be inspected as soon as possible to prevent any pedestrian injuries or the total collapse of the wall.

Chain link fencing has come loose from poles and hangs down over sidewalk

People are walking in the street opposed to the sidewalk because of the overgrown brush and grass. Annually, for the last 24 years, I have been report this property with Hamden’s planning and zoning Department, and no one responds to this issue. Last year I paid to have someone mow this property while I trimmed the limbs that were protruding out of the fence.

Why can’t Hamden’s resident benefit from services we already pay for annually in our taxes. I’m sick of begging for a service we are Entitled.

Also the sidewalk on Shepard Avenue between Apex and Mix is not safe for pedestrians. It's completely covered in leaves, branches, and downed trees. Thank you

Sidewalk is impassible. Trash, and overgrown grass and weeds, need to be taken care of.

Resident called in to ask that this property be inspected for a car that is always parked in the sidewalk area of the driveway. With the heavy snow around already blocking most sidewalks, this is very inconsiderate. Please notify them of the issue. Thank you.

These have been damaged and hazardous for over a year. This intersection has a crosswalk and congregate housing nearby. Someone using a walker, wheelchair or that is vision impaired is at severe risk of falling from these broken treads.
