    Dangerous sidewalk. A walker recently tripped over the raised section of sidewalk and fell in her hands and face. She needed to go to the ER by ambulance. She had 3 broken fingers and many contusions. Another section nearby also needs to be repaired and there has been a request for that too.

    This square of concrete is very dangerous. Someone recently tripped on it and fell on her face and hands. She had facial abrasions and three broken fingers. She had to go by ambulance to the hospital.

    I know there is no "extra" money for new sidewalks but, wouldn't it be good to at least maintain the ones we have? And, if more streets in Hamden had sidewalks, there would be less pedestrian vs. vehicle incidents I'm certain. Pedestrian fatalities have increased in nearby New Haven, let's not allow it to happen in Hamden.

    My walkway is a series if disconnected concrete/cement rectangles with a good three inches of dirt/weeds in between. Many are cracked and lifted from the tree that was in front of my house in 2018. I requested a sidewalk repair back when Curt Leng was Mayor but nothing ever happened. I am right down the street from St Rita school.
