    Public sidewalk of 100 Blake Rd, Hamden, CT, 06517, has broken sidewalk slabs, and, as the photo shows, other slabs are raised by tree roots (of city trees) that result in great danger to all pedestrians walking on this sidewalk.
    I reported this problem a few years ago and was told that my needed sidewalk repairs would be done the following year. That never happened; --the work was never done. I hope for satisfaction of this reiterated request.

    Sidewalk on the West side of Whitney Ave between Blake St and Armory is in disrepair. Please fix. Whitney is too busy to cross safely during many hours of the day. As the last block between Hamden and New Haven, this is a high traffic sidewalk that is impossible to navigate for older people, strollers, etc.

    sidewalk directly by the fire hydrant is sunken and is a Safety Hazard. This was caused by a fire hydrant leak / accident that has caused to undermine the sidewalk. This should be the responsibility of the Regional Water Authority to repair

    Quite a number of years ago, we reported to Hamden Public Works incidents of sidewalk deterioration at our address and the sidewalk was inspected and marked in various ways for repair. Unfortunately, no repairs were made and the situation has deteriorated substantially over the years, largely from frost heaves This is one example of many (I have 8 photos as samples). The disruptions in several places present hazards to foot traffic. We noticed that this spring quite a number of addresses in our immediate area of Spring Glen had substantial portions of their sidewalks repaired/replaced by the city - particularly other corner lots and several addresses on Greenway. We've lived at this address for almost forty years. Is our turn on the near horizon? Thanks.
