Why is there no category for utility poles? This old SNET pole has already snapped. This not an issue with a street light but if I put this in utility trenches then it will sit in someone's inbox for months. It looks like UI started something here at some point but now...sheesh.

  • 238-328 Thornton St Hamden, CT, 06517, USA - Spring Glen
There have been four replacement white street lights installed in the west Spring Glen neighborhood (Thornton Street / Elgin Street) over the last year. The replacement lights are INCREDIBLY bright for a quiet residential neighborhood, so much so that one has to shield their eyes from the glare. Why aren't the traditional amber lights being installed? Are covers going to be installed to diminish the light? At nighttime, it's supposed to be dark. We are avoiding the streets with the new lights for evening walks so we can view the night sky. These new lights are an incredible disservice to the neighborhood.

  • 149 Treadwell St Hamden, Connecticut, 06517 - Hamden
I can't tell if a cover is missing from this light or if it's a new style without a lens. I decided to report it in case it can be damaged without a cover.
