Section of sidewalk has been missing since the tornado back in 2020. Section missing is in between 3 Sherman Lane and 1 Sherman Lane. I was told this would be repaired 2 seasons ago now. Still nothing has been done.

Sidewalk not even with the rest of the ground. A possible trip hazard. This was possibly due to the root of the tree that was cut down prior to us buying the house.

Our sidewalk has been cracked and raised for over 20 years and the town has never came out to fix it, even though our street was repaired.

Located infront of 38 Grandview Ave near the drainage where the street meets the curb the asphalt is sinking/collapsing. Recommend that public works repair it before it full collapse.

Curb was placed a few years ago in front of my house and a small piece to one side of driveway - the small piece doesn’t run far enough along the length and I am now getting pooling / flooding down my yard and driveway into the side of my house…. Can this curb be extended to not cause damage to my property ?

It almost seems as if the town acknowledges tickets and leaves them open indefinitely to avoid having to look at them again. This neighborhood needs sidewalk repair, we need curbs, we need storm drain cleaning and we need a response. We’ve been asked to give our opinion on new usage of buildings along Hartford turnpike. We’ve been asked to give our opinion on new hours for the schools because of poorly negotiated bus contacts. We’ve been asked to help maintain legion field. We have complied. And yet the town has done nothing about any of these tickets. Our parents are elderly. Our children are young. They need safe sidewalks.

I’ve filed numerous tickets and none have been resolved.

How many more people have to fall on these cracked sidewalks? How much flooding needs to happen before the town takes action?

Please have the Board of Education maintenance department install snow markers at the various islands in the parking lot at the rear of the building.
The snow plows move the asphalt borders and ruin the grass on these islands.

This sidewalk has lifted since the Town removed limbs from the very large tree in the median in front of our house. It is now between 3 and 4 inches high. It is also cracked and has caused cracks in the sidewalk square next to it. This sidewalk needs to be replaced. It is a hazard!
