I would like to have the tree in front of 15 Gilbert Ave inspected. The fire department put a caution tape on it during one of the recent storms, but I don't think anyone has followed up on it. I have requested to have this tree trimmed or (removed if needed) previously. It has lost several more branches since that time, and it could be hazardous to passersby,or drivers .

We use the linear trail quite a bit and find that there's a blind spot where the trail crosses Brooksvale Avenue in Hamden, on the north side of the crossing. Is it possible to have the trees/brush cut back from the road to improve visibility? We're worried someone may get mowed down.

Driving north on Mix Avenue from Benham Street, opposite the area of the ice skating rink is a bank of trees on the West side (across from the rink) that overhang Mix Avenue traffic lanes - 1/2 to 2/3 over the roadway. It is time that the property owner/s or the Town removes ALL the tree branches that overhang the traffic lanes.
In addition, the sidewalk on many sections of Mix Avenue, West side, are overgrown with weeds and leaf litter making walking challenging.
We think that the apartment building owners and property managers should care for these areas as they do the actual rental property. And the Town should be sending notices to them to remind them of their civic responsibility. Why doesn't the town issue warnings?

There are two trees on Kenwood near the corner of Klarman that need to be removed. Both trees are dead and pose a threat due to branches regularly falling off.

These branches fell last night(Nov 30). They’re huge! Tree is very sick and branches continue to fall. This tree was slated for removal but nothing happened. This damage should show clear potential for serious future damage such as property damage and power line damage. Tree needs to be removed. Location is 77 Valley Rd Hamden, Ct

I reported this problem 2 yrs. ago and thank you for your response, but the brush has gotten worse. Is it possible for you to have equipment and take out the brush completely instead of having workers trying to clear by hand? Our properties on Morse St butt up to the rear field on Newhall St, the former Hamden Middle School. The town mow's the field but doesn't mow near our fence. Is it possible for the town to cut down and get rid of ALL the weeds and brush against the fence line for good. This is causing many animals to dig under the fence and into our yards. Also after a hard rain the brush is swampy causing home to mosquitoes. Myself and neighbors at 283 & 287 Morse try our best on our side of the fence to kill the brush from growing.

    Thank You in advance

These two trees are dropping dead limbs on Broadfield Road.
  • 926 Ridge Rd Hamden, CT, 06517, USA - Spring Glen
For drivers exiting Spring Garden Street onto Ridge Road, there is a bush near the northwest corner of the intersection (on the verge), that severely limits the site line. Can the bush be removed? This would dramatically improve the situation. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
