The sidewalk in front on Denicola Park is never shoveled by the town. It’s town property and should be cleared after each storm
  • 189-199 Hamden Hills Dr Hamden, CT, 06518, USA - Hamden_Feature 001
This pile of dog waste has been here for at least a month with people evidently adding to it. It’s on the path that connects Hamden Hills Drive to the Canal trail.
  • 75 Todd St Hamden, CT, 06518, USA - Hamden
A short distance north of the Todd Street parking lot for the Farmington Canal Trail, there is a damaged tree hanging over the trail. The tree on the west side of the trail (left side when heading north) is hanging by a thread with the top half resting on another tree. The tree is a safety risk when it does fall.
  • 82-106 Skiff St Hamden, Connecticut, 06517 - Hamden
Work was performed on the ramp at Skiff Street recently. It is entirely too steep of a drop when entering the Canal from Skiff Street using a vehicle. This is made doubly so with the excessively sharp curve anyone using a bicycle or other vehicle needs to maneuver. There is not enough room to turn on to the Canal pathway at Skiff Street. The steepness of the entry/exit point causes descending to be potentially difficult and dangerous, especially with icy conditions. Ascending is just as difficult and causes my motor to struggle.
