Curb RepairOpen147 Augur St Hamden CT 06517, United States - HamdenOn Wilkins just off Auger there's a stretch of sidewalk with no strip next to it and no curb. It just steeply drops off to the street which is dangerous. Someone is going to fall and break an ankle!

Curb RepairOpen520 Dunbar Hill Rd Hamden, CT, 06514, USA - HamdenSeveral weeks ago, the Curb Repair crew prepared the area to install a new curb between 460 and 450 Dunbar Hill Road. Over the past few weeks, several rainstorms created 38 feet of ruts, some with a depth of 12 inches and 20 inches wide. Can this be filled in as soon as possible as I understand the new curb may not be installed until later this year? It presents a potential hazard for pedestrians as well as cars (no sidewalks in this area).

It almost seems as if the town acknowledges tickets and leaves them open indefinitely to avoid having to look at them again. This neighborhood needs sidewalk repair, we need curbs, we need storm drain cleaning and we need a response. We’ve been asked to give our opinion on new usage of buildings along Hartford turnpike. We’ve been asked to give our opinion on new hours for the schools because of poorly negotiated bus contacts. We’ve been asked to help maintain legion field. We have complied. And yet the town has done nothing about any of these tickets. Our parents are elderly. Our children are young. They need safe sidewalks.
I’ve filed numerous tickets and none have been resolved.

How many more people have to fall on these cracked sidewalks? How much flooding needs to happen before the town takes action?

Curb RepairOpen67 Richard Dr Hamden CT 06514, United States - HamdenHello a crew came to make a repair to the curb that your town plow blew out but all they did was fix the road and did not replace the blown out curb. Are they coming back to replace the curb? It looks horrible and puts what’s left of my curb in danger for next year

This request was put in April 24, 2019 regarding new curbing in front of my home that is destroyed damaged within weeks after it was done, due to big heavy trucks driving and parking on it, as they were replacing underground pipes in the street in front of my home. The Director, Engineer responded that they were currently working with the Southern Connecticut Gas to restores it and didn't have a definite time to repair it. The curb is terrible dismantle and during the snow seasons the Public works truck has and continue to make it worse by plowing up on the curb and making it unsafe for people and family members to park in front of my house they can fall and injured themselves by fallen off the uneven curb when getting out of their car. It has been more than 2years going on 3 please give me a definite answer of when the restoring of my curb will be fixed, hopefully this spring. Thank you.
