As noted in an earlier message by someone else, Brooksvale Avenue is a mess with very large potholes. (1) patch ASAP, and (2) a full milling and repaving is required. The town has done patches in the past, but they don't last very long. If the poor road conditions persist, cars can be damaged on some bad potholes. Cars may veer to avoid hitting the bad spots, which invites accidents; the road gets considerable use as a north-south route.

We were told that Santa Fe Avenue would be repaved and the sidewalks repaired after the gas company was finished. Now that they are done the streets are even worse than they were before. The sidewalks are hazardous. It has been thirty years since the road was repaved. I know this for a fact.

Only part of the problem at the entrance to Near Path School has been resolved. The potholes/crumbling pavement have been patched but the pieces of the drainage grate continue to become dislodged. A significant amount of traffic travels over these each day. The protruding metal grates and the resulting gaps are at times unavoidable.

Mather Street needs to be repaved or at the very least heavily repaired before there is significant damage to a vehicle or injuries. I have to drive Mather daily, and I’ve already witnessed a car burst a tire and another lose a hubcap. If it happens to my car, I’m suing Hamden for damages.

A repair was done about week ago, looks like a water pipe repair.
The road needs to be repaired correctly. I feel like my car will need a new axle. Please help
