The sidewalks along benham and mix axe are so overgrown with weeds and trees that you cannot walk safely down the sidewalk. There is also a section of sidewalk missing on mix ave between Benham and Promenade drive. People are forced to walk in the road to avoid all the overgrown weeds and not step in the flooded mud area where the sidewalk is missing.

Tree hazard with potential for falling limbs. Tree is half dead and should be removed.

There is a tree in front of my house (105 Spring Garden) that has been very concerning for awhile. We contacted the power company about removing it and were directed to you because it is on town property. It is right next to a utility pole and appears to be touching power lines. It has also caused a great deal of damage to the sidewalk. The tree in question is between 105 and 97 Spring Garden. Thanks for your help!

There are large tree branches in the road. Please remove them. They fell off a tree with dead branches that looks diseased and damaged from wildlife. Please cut down or extensively trim the tree. There is also a dead tree trunk in the same area that has pieces of dead bark falling into the street. The tree trunk was reported here back in August 2024 and no action has been taken yet.

The tree is dead and loaded with bugs, branches are falling off.
This was supposed to be tagged last year for removal. It is getting worse. The bugs are eating it there is always sawdust around the base.

When time permits, please have these branches near the bus stop trimmed, so that passengers waiting at the bus stop shelter are more visible to CTtransit drivers. This becomes a problem when the sun isn't out. Passengers need to move to the curb in order to be seen. It's easy for a bus driver to miss someone waiting here because the branches are in the way.

Tree rotted.

As the photo show, electrical wires are running through this tree it is very scary and the winter time I have put in several calls about this tree and no one has returned my messages on top of the issue with the powerlines. This tree is also dangerous a member of my family and myself Have ran into the large, lower limb of this tree resulting head trauma. It’s almost invisible at night. I would like it to be removed like I’ve seen many other trees removed since I’ve lived here.

I see that this was reported 6 months ago As you as see the trees are even more overgrown now and you can no longer walk on that section of the side walk You have to walk in the street

I just noticed this large broken branch overhanging the sidewalk. Apparently it’s been like this for a month. There is also a tree across the street with massive broken limbs at 201 Thornton.
