The HHS tennis courts continue to be in a state of deterioration. The patch work to fix cracks was poor at best. There are rough spots in the patched areas, and cracks are reappearing. There is mud on court 8 that has been there for months, rendering it unplayable. The court surfaces are flaking away and the entire court surfaces need to be resurfaced. The steps have tree debris from last Fall. The courts are a disgrace to be used in athletic competition.
The courts have been deteriorating for years. What is the plan to repair them to bring them up to standard? BTW, the Middle School's are not much better.

This park is in desperate need of repair. The fence has been like this for two years…much of the playground equipment is missing parts, rusty or rotting. Many children play here daily and deserve an safe, updated play space. We pay a lot on taxes and this shouldn’t be this neglected.

This footbridge was apparently constructed by the owner of property across from Brooksvale Park. It is property (not sure of the exact address) that backs up to the Farmington Canal Trail. It's the part of the canal trail that runs between Brooksvale Avenue and Mt Sanford Rd. The footbridge is very narrow, with a railing on one side only. The barrier with a "nope" sign indicates that it is not for public use. Children at play might ignore the barrier and "nope" sign and possibly get hurt crossing to the other side. Did this footbridge require a permit? If so, was a permit issued by the town? At the very least, it's a potential safety concern.

Farmington Canal fence near Mather St. was repaired a year ago but never painted. Isn't time to complete the job and maintain the fence?

From Skiff St to Connoly Parkway the trash and debris along the Farmington Canal trail is disgusting. I carry a bag to collect what I can when I walk but this is out of control and beyond one person's ability. Property owners are plowing, blowing and dumping trash at the edge of their lots as well. It is too much even for one Earth Day clean-up and now is the time to get the trash out before the brush fills in and the poison ivy.
