    I called, in December I believe, but perhaps earlier, to say that our arborist (licensed) had told us that the tree directly in front of our house on the city right of way was splitting, and in danger of falling over, and that the town needed to remove it. There is a danger that it might fall and hurt or kill someone. As I say, I called, and spoke to someone who said that the office would be in touch. But that was half a year ago, at least, and no one has been here, as far as I can tell, to see for themselves, and no one has been in touch. Our phone is 203 407-0663. I am not eager to have the tree come down, and would be happy to learn that it is safe as it is, but really, it shouldn't be neglected. --Shelly Kagan

    There are large tree branches in the road. Please remove them. They fell off a tree with dead branches that looks diseased and damaged from wildlife. Please cut down or extensively trim the tree. There is also a dead tree trunk in the same area that has pieces of dead bark falling into the street. The tree trunk was reported here back in August 2024 and no action has been taken yet.

    My neighbor has complained multiple times about the tree. Now daily it is dropping big branches down on or around my mailbox. The mailman can’t even pull up to my box because there’s branches all over the ground. One day I went to grab my mail and one almost fell on me. He’s been told the tree is healthy And that’s fine but all the dead stuff needs to get cut off because it’s a hazard.
