Why are pedestrian pathway lights not coming on at Villano Park? The Park is very dark at 4:30 this time of year and feels unsafe.

The red fire department pickup truck with the siren - is it necessary for the siren to be so incredibly loud? I thought sirens were used to get cars in the immediate vicinity out of the way, but I live over a mile from the fire department and can clearly hear whenever that fire pickup has its siren blaring. I get the importance of having a siren but the whole town doesn't have to hear it right

Surprised the town found it unnecessary to have fireworks display this 4th of July holiday; but have scheduled summer concerts that will invite groups that will surely cause disturbances and destruction.
In light of tonight's "march", I think it would behoove the public if the Hip Hop/Rap/Urban bands were cancelled.
What happened to the easy listening music of past years?

My Ride needs to stop using the Amble app and find some other way for their clients to schedule and confirm their rides. I scheduled a ride home for November 20, at 7:30 pm. I got a call the night before to confirm, but I only noticed while I was waiting that the app said my ride was for the night after. At the time, their office was closed, so I couldn't call and ask. I decided to take the bus home instead. I later scheduled a ride to and from another location for December 14. This time, it said my ride there was correct, but my ride back was for the 15th. I called them earlier to confirm. Apparently, both rides were scheduled to pick me up on the 14th, but the app had the wrong date! This isn't the first time I've had problems with the app. I've tried complaining to GNHTD before, but they just tell me all they can do is forward my concerns to the company that makes the app. Once, I even tried emailing them myself. That was more than a year ago, and they never got back to me. The app has a 1.8/5 star rating on Google, so clearly, I'm not the only client who's had problems with it. Considering that the people who use this app are primarily senior citizens and people with disabilities, I find it ironic that we are forced to use technology that doesn't work because we don't have a choice.

Good afternoon, I really would like to have this addressed soon, the massive amount of SPEEDING CARS that use our street as a cut through or for what ever reason is really ridiculous... I am sure your aware of the fatal crash that happened on last Friday that involved my neighbor across from us that has lived on that street well over 40 years. I am pleading that speed bumps be put on our street and a patrol presence be posted someone to control the speeding... There have been several near mishaps this year that have increased not to mention the side swiped cars along our street. I really would like to see something be done sooner than later. Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this real concern.

Not sure who to contact, but these lines have been down across the sidewalk of Old Dixwell Ave since Weds 5/7 in the afternoon.
It’s preventing pedestrian traffic (have to enter the street to safely pass the wires, but as a result you're walking in a busy street with unpredictable speeds/traffic)

Thornton street has many people who park in the street. We have shared driveways and can’t all park in driveways. During the storm some people moved their cars out into the street before the plows finished their sweeps so the road was never cleared to the curb. Now it is has become a one lane road and even still large vehicles can’t get through. At 6:45 this morning a bus had to sit outside and honk its horn until a vehicle owner came out to move their car because they couldn’t get down the street. It is a dangerous situation and a very busy street.
