Hamden has a large feral/community cat population.
After reaching out to the animal control and various TEAM, WTLI, TNR programs; it is nearly impossible to have no/low cost spay/neuter programs.
Can a person on fixed income afford to pay $200+ to have a stray fixed? NO.
Meriden has a program for their residents at no cost associated with Veterinarians in their town to control the population.
Why does Hamden not even have our own facility? Everything is geared to dogs.
This is unacceptable at our high taxation level that we have no solution for this problem.
Currently, in our area, we have several community cats reproducing at an alarming rate!
Nothing is done to protect their health or population in Hamden.
Shame on Hamden!!!

There is a need for speed bumps on Gorham Ave. This is a school zone and cars do not abide by the speed limit. There have been numerous cars struck and animals killed. Please take action to prevent a person from being struck. The Hamden police and Traffic Div previously stated it is not in the budget however other areas have had speed bumps installed. Each area of this town, be it Northern or Southern Hamden, deserves the same protections and safety.

During the last snow storm the snow plow knocked my entire mailbox over. Normally they’d knock off the top. This year was the second time they’ve knocked over the entire mailbox. Please fix immediately as mail will not be delivered without a physical box.

Quinnipiac students leave all 3 trash bins on the road 24/7.

What is with these cars with loud mufflers on Sherman and going up to quinnipiac. I am really tired of the constant noise these ars out making. This needs to stop. There are homes here.

On Sherman Avenue at the York Campus entrance, there is a need for a right turn lane. If the double yellow line could just be moved a foot there would be enough room for 2 lanes. Currently if you are waiting at the light to go straight, so many cars are trying to squeeze by you to make the right turn even though there isn't a lane for that. Can we just make the right turn lane that everyone wants and needs?

Quinnipiac Construction workers parking all over Sherman Ave Ext as well as Clarks Pond all day long. None seems to care. I have called the school who advised that it is a public street they do not have jurisdiction over

Students have turned Mount Carmel Ave into a new Parking lot. Parked along both sides of the road directly under No parking signs. Each day seems to get worse. First sleeping giant now the sides of the road? Tickets and tow trucks maybe eventually they will take a hint

Quinnipiac University construction workers have taken over Clarks Pond parking. There is only room for 4 cars as it is but now the construction workers park there all day long. I just want to enjoy the pond and be able to park off the street. I thought QU said the contractors would be parking off site?
