  • Long Wharf New Haven, Connecticut - Long Wharf
I am a food truck owner on Long Wharf. For months someone has been damaging our electricity system. For all the money we pay the City, you would this they can replace the broken ones instead of putting tape on it! Also there is trash everywhere and It is very dark over there at night! We need lights and a Police presence! Not until someone gets hurt will the City do something about this!

  • 916-960 Edgewood Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - Westville
Lack of sidewalk on one side, dangerously damaged sidewalk on the other. Overgrowth makes it hard to use the sidewalk and bike lane. Cars constantly speed in this area making it even more dangerous. We need proven solutions such as undamaged sidewalks on both sides, sidewalks and bike lanes clear of trash and overgrowth and provided with hard protection, raised intersections, and a red light traffic/speed cameras at this intersection.
  • 9 Cliff St New Haven CT 06511, United States - Prospect Hill

  • 101 Hazel St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Newhallville
For years we have complained about sink holes around the non working fire hydrant in front of our property. Many times the city has filled the hole but it always reappears. Additionally the hydrant doesn't appear to have any pressure because whenever there's a fire the hydrant fails to function.
Now the street appears to be caving in. I hope that someone would come out to fix the hydrant, fill in the sink hole in the dirt beside the hydrant again and check the street. The last thing we want is to find our vehicles have been swallowed up by a cave in.

There is no actual sidewalk between the District building at 470 James St. and the DDS building at 370 James St. Parking spots have been painted on the road, increasing pedestrian traffic in this area, including by families visiting the elementary school on the opposite corner. In addition, the curb alongside the road is full of tall growing weeds, trash, and debris that is unsightly, unsafe, and must be walked through to access the parking.

  • 1-99 Lock St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Dixwell
Curb cut extension blocks access to the pathway to the Farmington Canal trail, creating a dangerous access point for bicycles going around the Health Center. Despite the presence of this well-traveled bike path, there is no safe access to the rail trail or ability to ride around health center to Winchester/Sachem St.
