New Haven: Internal PLUS

Lack of sidewalk on one side, dangerously damaged sidewalk on the other. Overgrowth makes it hard to use the sidewalk and bike lane. Cars constantly speed in this area making it even more dangerous. We need proven solutions such as undamaged sidewalks on both sides, sidewalks and bike lanes clear of trash and overgrowth and provided with hard protection, raised intersections, and a red light traffic/speed cameras at this intersection.

Kenter Place is the street that runs behind the even side of Vista Terrace. It includes several home whose address is Kenter Place. The City plows it and picks up the refuse on Kenter Place. the current condition is treacherous to cars and pedestrians. Holes are deep and dangerous. It desperately needs repaving. Public Works, please inspect this.

Cracked sidewalk/curb - asphalt patches from years ago are lifted by growing roots along the street, lots of elderly and joggers and strollers passing and very unsafe,

Also markings are needed as the have faded away at intersection of Lexington and Clifton

No sidewalk access to get around the busy dangerous corner to get to the park. Hill is a danger. No sidewalk for students to wait for the bus. Parents are the city to develop a plan to put in a sidewalk for safety reasons. Please update the public on the status.

Cottage and Whitney cross walk

Dangerous curbside from street to sidewalk. 356 Yale Avenue

There is no actual sidewalk between the District building at 470 James St. and the DDS building at 370 James St. Parking spots have been painted on the road, increasing pedestrian traffic in this area, including by families visiting the elementary school on the opposite corner. In addition, the curb alongside the road is full of tall growing weeds, trash, and debris that is unsightly, unsafe, and must be walked through to access the parking.
