  • 101 Hazel St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Newhallville
For years we have complained about sink holes around the non working fire hydrant in front of our property. Many times the city has filled the hole but it always reappears. Additionally the hydrant doesn't appear to have any pressure because whenever there's a fire the hydrant fails to function.
Now the street appears to be caving in. I hope that someone would come out to fix the hydrant, fill in the sink hole in the dirt beside the hydrant again and check the street. The last thing we want is to find our vehicles have been swallowed up by a cave in.
  • 1-99 Lock St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Dixwell
Curb cut extension blocks access to the pathway to the Farmington Canal trail, creating a dangerous access point for bicycles going around the Health Center. Despite the presence of this well-traveled bike path, there is no safe access to the rail trail or ability to ride around health center to Winchester/Sachem St.

  • 33 Humphrey St New Haven, CT, 06513, USA - Fair Haven
There is no actual sidewalk between the District building at 470 James St. and the DDS building at 370 James St. Parking spots have been painted on the road, increasing pedestrian traffic in this area, including by families visiting the elementary school on the opposite corner. In addition, the curb alongside the road is full of tall growing weeds, trash, and debris that is unsightly, unsafe, and must be walked through to access the parking.
  • 1 Front St New Haven CT 06513, United States - Fair Haven
Can we fix the Quinnipiac River Park entrance at Chambers and Front St so cars can't drive in and ruin the grass/plantings? Happens almost every afternoon. Super close and easy to park on the street and walk over with your fishing gear.
  • New Haven Green Historic District - Downtown

I literally just watched an elderly person, using a walker, crossing over towards the New Haven Green, DECIDING TO NOT USE THE CROSSWALK CORNER, and INSTEAD WALKED AWAY FROM THE CORNER TO STEP UP ONTO THE CURB because that was a less dangerous way to enter the New Haven Green. There is a curb that dips down to allow access, but the handiwork performed to patch the corners prevented this individual from simply walking forward. They looked ahead, seemed like they recognized the danger, then pivoted their walker to walk a few feet down towards the parked cars so they wouldn't trip. This was at the corner nearest the Bennett Memorial Fountain.

ALL CORNERS allowing access to the New Haven Green need to be fixed ASAP to allow for the use of assisted access devices. The pavement or other ground material at these locations have been an unacceptable and dangerous wreck for years. Multiple people have posted about this issue repeatedly on this app but the problem persists. This includes the corners at properties adjacent to corners of the Green as well.

All of my posts to SeeClickFix are automatically being moderated before being allowed in public, and as a result, by them doing this, whether I use the app or the website, they have broken the ability for me to upload an image, because even if they approve my text post, the service returns an error for any images I've uploaded. But you yourself can take a look around this app at all the other YEARS worth of reports (at the very least) of all the other corners people have made repeated requests for help over.
