There is a homeless man parked at or near a bench on the Promanade and Hazelton for well over a week now. Today the ground crew couldn’t even mow there as he was laying in grass watching his phone. Which he frequently plugs into the electrical box there. It’s really disturbing as a resident to see him both on my morning jogs and evening walks.

Hello - I see from signs that W 66th Street will be closed between Valley View and West Shore Dr. from 6/22/20 to 6/26/20. I live on that section and we were not notified of the closure (other than the signs on the road). Please let me know what work is being done and whether we will be able to get in/out of our driveway or if we need to park on side streets for the entire week.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Our neighbor has been redoing his deck for nearly three years. He also coverted the outdoor space under the deck into a shop including tarps to enclose it. I have attached the latest picture. I have to believe there is some ordinance regarding construction trash. I also believe e all the work going on in his house including the deck requires a building permit. The address is 6613 Gleason Road. I also will attach another photograph of the same sight this summer when he woke us at 2:00 AM running power woodworking equipments. This the view from our window

The Edina Joanns is not following CDC guidelines and has people all over in the store. Barriers are homemade and not up to standard. Employees look overworked and tired.
  • 5422-5446 Vernon Ave S Edina, MN, 55436, USA - Edina
In spite of record clean air and lack of particulates in the air according to MNPCA because of the shelter in place order the air surrounding the area near 54th and Vernon ave has been terrible enough to have to close all the windows and doors the last 3 days (4/1 today). This starts in the late afternoon around ~5pm and ends late in the evening. Burning firewood in anything other than your home fireplace requires a permit doesn't it? Can we enforce these rules please? More now than ever people cooped up at home need fresh air not people burning trash in their backyard barrels like the 1970s.

As residents of Yorktown Continentals we have notified and asked Premier Management to fix this issue this weekend and they have refused to come out . Trash is back up 5 stories high. The building smells and this is a health risk. Also, they refused to fix our main service elevator as well so we have only one small elevator for 262 apartments and many in wheelchairs .

There appears to be a girls high school volleyball team practicing with an adult on the synthetic turf field near Kuhlman Field in Edina. There are maybe 20 girls standing together hitting a volleyball

The new lights at Arden Park are on 24/7. Is that by design or is there an issue with the photo sensor? This is a waste of energy and should be fixed. Please forward to whomever installed them and if they are defective should be under warranty. Thank you. Kathleen
