Edina, MN PLUS

Under DIVISION 5. - NOISES DISTURBING THE PUBLIC PEACE, Sec. 23-122, I would like the city to assess the noises emitting from FilmTec (located at 5400 Dewey Hill Road) and Dewey Hill Condo Associates (located at 5501 Dewey Hill Rd). Both emit very loud fan and mechanical noises constantly. The noise is very disruptive to the community and disturbs the peace. All we can hear is the constant humming when outdoors. I also believe that FilmTec is especially offensive with loud mechanical humming that can be heard at great distances. Almost sounds like a bad bearing or fan going out. Please advise on what actions can be taken.

Someone dumped a gas grill on public property at the corner of 49th St., West and Brookside Avenue

Garlic mustard is proliferating along Olinger Blvd from The NW corner of Countryside Park to around 5820 Olinger Blvd. There is also a lot of burdock growing in that area. Garlic mustard is also growing in areas of Bredesen Park.

Dear Edina,
I am a resident next door to this Home Care Center that the Board allowed to open in a residential area. They leave trash and recycling in the street and at the end of their driveway week after week. We've kindly asked them directly, showing them the city ordinance limiting time buckets and other items to ~24-36 hours maximum out in the open. I do not want to live in a trash-heaped street. Two weeks ago it was two buckets and folded boxes and full white trash bags sitting out there for more than a week. I am asking the City to please keep them to our laws.

Republic failed to pick up recycling today 12/24/19. Entire block was missed.

Our neighborhood (block of Belmore, Spruce, John , Grove) has planned a Halloween parade on Oct 31, 6pm as a safe, socially distant celebration. Any chance a representative from Fire or Police might be able to surprise the kids?

This evening while walking my dog on the path leading to the Edina Art Center, I saw that someone dumped a big chair into the woods adjacent to the arts center. They killed a lot of wild flowers.

Trash dumped outside of dumpster area for over 2 months

The ramp up to this bridge has recently deteriorated. I bike on this path often and have had no problems but yesterday I flipped over my handle bars and biffed it pretty bad. I’m an experienced athlete and this still happened so I consider this spot very dangerous and you should take care of it quickly

Someone keeps bringing their crap to this corner and leaving it. Thanks for picking it up. Looks like hell.

Roti Modern Mediterranean still has garbage out. It’s been sitting for 3 months and smells terrible. I would like someone to take it. Thank you!
