Hi the case I opened June 9 was closed
But u Didbt read the info
It has nothing to go with ponding
The dot/dep need to get together and fix the intersection by my corner .
There is no side walks because every time they pave they go higher and higher and the intersection is pitched towards our side of the street
There is no catch basin by my corner
These two things cause my home to flood when there is a torrential rain ..
This needs to be addressed And fixed
Bith dot and dep
Keep throwing it back to the other side ..

For the last 10 years, every time it rains hard, water runs from the street to my sidewalk. The water accumulates so high that people cannot walk on sidewalk and need to walk in the street. Winter is even worse because water freeze. I have reported to 311 and DOT numerous times but nothing got done. Staten Island advance even wrote an article on June 1,2013.

Jim you need to come see the mess on Delafield and Bard between Nmada and Bard. To boot dot came out to do a curb request and kid is writing a noticw for homeowner for crack in sidewalk that the ponding caused
This will go round and round he ll call for the ponding problem to be fixed the sidewalk will be cracked again because dot has not fixed problem and all homeowner will get is a notice which means he has a lein on his house till he repairs a priblem that will happen again. Money is tight covid is bad on all and you have dot out putting leins on people for non dangerous issues.

This is bad u have people walking to hospital in street on ice. The ponding Goes down the block to 248 Delafield.
You need to get down here and see this mess and let me explain the issues most of info was given by people who paved road they shook head said this will be worse and did it anyway.

this is our second attempt for your assistance. the area behind the fence needs to be cleaned and dreged so it can hold more water. we are always getting flooded because the water has no where to go. Dongan Hills Ave between Hylan and Vera St.
my last report stated that the issue was be investigated ???? PLEASE HELP !

sewers system doesn't work. this happens after every rain

1. Three (3) previous reports to 311 were closed by DEP. they "did not observe condition". #s 311-07030260, 311-07112206 and 311-07227192.

2. Previously filled sink holes are sinking again.

3. Water is preculating thru pavement in middle of intersection.

4. Water continues to flow from gutter along west curb line. dirty and green.

5. Photos show everything. Can someone look closer to fix it before the problem gets worse?

Water being pumped out or water main broke

Sewer back up/Flooding and damaging property every time it rains. I have a lot more pictures and videos from other incidents. One time FDNY came and unclogged the drainage and that’s how the water started leaving, and they came only because people were stuck in a car floating in that water and couldn’t get out. But to get them to come every time it floods is very hard.
