Snow/IceOpen19 Olmstead Rd Hazardville, CT, 06082, USA - polytest19 Olmstead Rd is a corner lot with sidewalks bordering Middle Road and Olmstead Rd. Requesting the excess snow be plowed across the street…where there are no sidewalks. During this last storm, excess snow was piled up on the corner crosswalks making it more difficult to clean up for school and pedestrian traffic. Thank you

StreetlightAcknowledged14 Wilstar Cir Enfield, Connecticut, 06082 - polytestHowdy! There are no streetlights at the end of Wilstar circle. We have had multiple car burglaries with the most recent suspect getting stopped by the police roughly 730pm 10/06 on a Friday night. My personal report is from September 2021. Throw neighborhood is too dark which makes for the perfect playground for the thugs. They get dropped off and scout out
Our neighborhood and take what they please. Proper lighting caulk have a higher impact as we would be able to see our cars or reflections rather than total darkness. Not scary to some but here was my night. I’m about to take a bath as my toddler is laying down. I get a text from a neighbor asking if I’m alright which confused me. I then looked out the window and there were cop cars outside talking to a thug who was randomly roaming around in the dark, very well dressed as I’m assuming his last gig paid well. I check my outdoor cameras and the battery just went dead. My brother then calls as another neighbor tells him his sister may be in trouble. Imagine if nothing happened and I made it in the bathtub only to be confronted my this perp trying to get in my house or helping himself to the neighbors tools or tires or whatever they are about to steal. I bet my neighborhood would be safer with a few lights so we can see what’s going on as there is a dead end which people can walk through the woods, cross into other neighborhoods and such. I pay abo it $4knper year in taxes along with the other 40+ houses on my street. I’m sure this would cover the cost to help protect us paying law abiding homeowners. Would we all have to go to the town hall and complain for 40 years or can we simply provide proper sage lighting so we can give a better description of the thugs walking around and maybe even be able to take a picture of. Do we wait till everyone gets stolen from and sit back and allow our hard earned possessions to go to thugs who don’t want to pay taxes themselves? -

Street SignsAcknowledged36–98 Oliver Rd Enfield CT 06082, United States - polytestCould we have this street sign changed to one that indicates Fairfield Road coming off on the right? When you’re driving down, Oliver people come right up on the back of you because they don’t see a sign that indicates a side road coming up on the right, and they ignore

Street SignsOpen223 Hazard Ave Hazardville, CT, 06082, USA - polytestThe beginning of our street has a small one way sign. Many people (mostly delivery people) come down our street and don’t notice the one way sign and turn around and go back up the street. Can you please place the red wrong way signs at the top and middle of the street alone with large one way signs at the entrance of the street. Multiple times I have driven onto my street not expecting a car to be coming right at me, there is not enough room to evade the vehicle especially with a large concentration of kids playing at the top of the street.

TreesAcknowledged1412 Enfield St Enfield, CT 06082, USA - polytestthe shrubs on the road side (right side of road when heading to rt 5 from broadleaf lane) are extremely tall and unkept, making it extremely difficult to see people approaching the crosswalk from the sidewalk which is super dangerous as someone could get hit due to the obstructed view.
