  • S Mountain Eagle Dr & W Valencia Rd Tucson, Arizona, 85757 - Valencia West

A heavy rain event occurred January 1st, 2026, enough to fill in the recently expanded Water Basin .
Attached are 2-Photos of the Area taken January 2nd.

I may not have the best economic answer to the issue with the long standing water and associated
environmental issues, but I would say that the recent County Extension to the Water Basin will not
    resolve the ongoing issues.

I would only add again, that the County could possibly obtain a Water Pumping Service Provider to
extract excess water in the Water Basin on a more timely basis than waiting for natural evaporation
or the absorption of the excess water into non concrete filled dirt areas of the Water Basin over time
vs the costs of any radical redesign of the Water Basin Area.

Please review with County Officials responsible for resolving the issue via Design Changes to the
Water Basin @ N/E Corner of Mountain Eagle @ Valencia Rd and the use of Alternative Methods
to remove the long standing water that develops after significant rains.

  • N Camino De Oeste & W Magee Rd Casas Adobes, AZ, 85741, USA - Casas Adobes

I can see that the area was served but the drainpipes have a large amount of debris still,

This is on the southeast side of Magee and Camino de Oeste.

The debris is causing the water to back up and overflow carrying debris on to Camino de Oste.

Another issue is the debris is being deposited on the street inside Northwood Point in the cul-de-sac on Scholes.

Can rip rap be installed to the east of the pipe inlet to slow the water and trap debris.

This is an on going issue for the apst few years.

  • 5935 S Joseph Ave Tucson, Arizona, 85757 - Drexel Heights
The shoulder has washed away again. Hard to enter our driveway. Problem about 7-8" deep and 12-15' long
  • 2955 W Lambert Ln Tucson, Arizona, 85742 - Tortolita
Once again the rains washed out the shoulder across out driveway and we are trapped inside the property. The county had repaired the shoulder for all properties west of us stopping 200 feet from our property line, for what reason we are not sure. Maybe they ran out of material and planned to return? Maybe lucky they didnt because it got worse but now really needs to be fixed. Please kindly prioritize. Lamert lane is in jeopardy too.
